☀️ TODAY: The Irish 1,000 Guineas plus bull’s-eye bet and Holiday Hot Spots

ABASHIRI LOVE MATCH

⭕ 4.30 Curragh (Irish 1,000 Guineas) Aidan O’Brien has won six out of nine of these and goes for a weekend Classic double here after Gstaad took the 2,000 yesterday, well in command of his field.

O’Brien has a 1-2-3 chance with his contenders True Love (on 116), Precise (114) and Beautify (111) the top three rated of the 12 runners.

Though True Love had the advantage of a run over Precise when winning the Newmarket 1,000, Precise was favourite as Ryan Moore’s pick but was beaten five lengths by the winner.

The jockey bookings are now reversed, with Moore switching to True Love and the Newmarket winner, Wayne Lordan, now on Precise, who beat Beautify only around threeparts of a length in the Moyglare in September.

True Love was giving 3lb in her 7f Leopardstown trial in April when she had to be pushed out to beat Magny Cours and Pivotal Attack but it’s doubtful they have made similar progress.

Sukanya won the Fred Darling from the subsequent 1,000 Guineas sixth, Touleen, but Charlie Appleby’s Abashiri (Frankel out of a Dubawi mare) was fifth that day.

That was only the second race of her life, and she may well split True Love and Precise this afternoon. BETDAQ 8.5

16.0 STATEIRA A STAR

⭕ 3.20 Curragh Stateira is officially up to 11lb behind the Group winners in this race but the big Persian King filly has shown massive improvement at home and has been raised 16lb on the track, as she just now shows her true potential after needing time to come to herself. BETDAQ 16.0

⭕ 3.55 Curragh (Tattersalls Gold Cup) One who similarly stepped up to the big time after winning back-to-back handicaps was Sandown Group-3 scorer Saddadd.

But for me he makes a price for Minnie Hauk, world’s top filly of 2025 who forced Daryz to a photo-finish in the Arc.

JUMPS DOUBLE AT 16-1

🔥 HOT SPOT 🔥 2.52 Uttoxeter Trainer Jamie Snowden’s fabulous form in eight days’ racing (112122231011) is likely to be boosted by Cinnodin, who went clear over the CD here, 14 lengths clear of the third, though giving 25lb to the runner-up. BETDAQ 3.45.

🔥 HOT SPOT 🔥 3.28 Uttoxeter Dan Skelton has already scored 18 times in the new jumps season at a strike rate of 35% and the mare Service Minimum is improving in leaps and bounds, literally! BETDAQ 4.9 is big.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
