Although you could say that this fixture was scheduled at an odd time, a noon kick off will surely have some impact on the atmosphere, but it should be a cracker nonetheless. Barcelona have yet to be beaten in La Liga this season, winning 13 of their 16 matches. They sit a shopping 11 points ahead of Real Madrid in the table, with Real down in 4th position! Much like the Premier League, the league is over before Christmas – the only glimmer of hope being a win for Real here to close the gap, and hope Barcelona slip up against the weaker sides in the rest of the league.
Given the way that the sides have been playing this season, Real Madrid look exceptionally short at 2.26. They have suffered with injuries, however that’s no excuse for the games that they have failed to win in La Liga. Real don’t have a great record in El Clasico either, only winning twice since 2013/14 in the league – and absolutely everything points to Real being too short here at 2.26. Laying them looks like the best bet of the weekend in any sport.
