PREMIER LEAGUE SATURDAY: We preview Saturday’s Premier League games with recommended BETDAQ bets including the televised game Arsenal v Everton at 5.30pm.
BURNLEY V MANCHESTER CITY
12.30pm The Premier League sides are being kept busy at the moment with a full fixture list midweek and now we’re onto a busy weekend! Having leaked a few goals recently, City arrive here off the back of two clean sheets and five goals. Burnley had a superb start to the season, however they’ve hit a road block at the moment and haven’t won in their last nine games. They did have a tough run of fixtures, however it doesn’t get much tougher than Manchester City! Burnley have really grinded out results this season, but they’ve also really struggled when hosting the top teams, and this along with the fact that City are in great form means we feel that they can cover the handicap. City are trading 1.92 -1.5 goals and that looks too big.

BOURNEMOUTH V STOKE
3pm Bournemouth produced a big stock during the week when beating Chelsea 3-0 at Stamford Bridge, not many seen that coming! They had beaten Arsenal prior to that, however that came at home and Arsenal have been poor away – the result has seen them jump up the table to 10th position. While Stoke could only manage a 0-0 draw with Watford and with things getting very tight at the bottom, Stoke can’t afford many losses. It was disappointing that they couldn’t beat Watford with home advantage though, however this will no doubt be a very close affair and with Bournemouth a shade of odds on, we feel that the percentage call from a value point of view is to lay Bournemouth at these odds.

BRIGHTON V WEST HAM
3pm With things desperately tight at the bottom of the table, this is a massive game. Brighton are three points worse off than West Ham at the moment, and really need to get some points here or they risk being dragged down towards the bottom three. The problem is that Brighton have only recorded one league win in their last nine home games, and that’s not the type of thing you want to hear when looking at a team trading 2.4. That definitely looks too short – West Ham have been pretty solid since David Moyes took over. They’re also unbeaten in their last four league games away from home, so we simply have to lay Brighton here at the odds – this one will surely be closer than the 2.4 on Brighton suggests.

LEICESTER V SWANSEA
3pm Swansea sat at the bottom of the Premier League table for quite a while, however with six points from two games against Liverpool and Arsenal, they now sit in 19th! Another win here would see them jump up the table with things so tight at the bottom, however Leicester have performed notably better at home this season, compared to away and while Swansea obviously arrive here on a high, Leicester will have lots of backers at 1.8. The thing about that though is, in all competitions Swansea are unbeaten in their last six, and are obviously heading in the right direction and full of confidence. We can’t quite commit to backing Leicester at 1.8, and much prefer over 2.5 goals at 2.12 which looks too big in what should be an entertaining affair.

MANCHESTER UNITED V HUDDERSFIELD
3pm United suffered an embarrassing 2-0 defeat against Spurs on Wednesday, and will be looking to bounce back quickly here. They face a relatively straightforward task against the struggling Huddersfield and should get the job done. Huddersfield have been poor away from home this season, and have failed to even find the net in nine of their last 11 away games. With stats like that you’d want to be on United to cover the handicap, however they are currently odds on to cover a 2 goal Asian Handicap and that looks a little short. They haven’t exactly been blowing teams away lately in the league, so we’re going to take a chance and back under 2.5 goals at 2.56! It’s also worth checking what prices 1-0 and 2-0 United wins are trading closer to kick off.

WEST BROM V SOUTHAMPTON
3pm What a big game! With Swansea collecting six points from two games against Liverpool and Arsenal, West Brom now sit bottom of the table three points adrift from everyone else. Things are getting desperate, and if they are to stay up then they really need to get something here. Southampton are having a horrible season, and currently sit in 18th position – at the prices they have been going off this season, you’d be making plenty of money by laying them! We have a pretty open market here, with West Brom 2.6, Southampton 3.25 and the draw 3.2 at the time of writing. It’s difficult to pick a winner here with both sides struggling, however the best option is the Southampton lay at 3.2. They have been struggling to score goals all season, and while West Brom haven’t won many games – they’ve been tough to beat here, only losing once in their last six and that came against Manchester United.

ARSENAL V EVERTON
5.30pm Arsenal suffered yet another embarrassing defeat away from home on Tuesday night against Swansea. They have been woeful away from home all season, and even though they have been pretty good at home, it’s very hard to find the confidence to back them at 1.33 here. Everton finally got three points midweek at home to Leicester, however they had gone six games without a win prior to that. It’s tempting to lay Arsenal at 1.33, however this game screams goals to us! Over 2.5 goals is currently trading 1.65 and that looks big – both sides have seen plenty of goals in their recent games and we expect that to continue here.
