JESSICA HARRINGTON FORM TO CONTINUE: SHAMROCK looks ahead to the 6.00 at Ballinrobe on Monday.
Alpha Centauri continued the excellent run of form of trainer Jessica Harrington when swooping late to win the 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh yesterday – going away at the line from long time leader Could It Be Love with favourite Happily back in third.
Back over the jumps, the stable can land the Sheridan Electric Hurdle at Ballinrobe tonight with Conron who didn’t show much on the flat when trained by Mick Halford but sprung a 66/1 shock when winning on his jumps debut at Punchestown earlier in the month on his first run for the new stable.
He has a penalty for that win but if anything this looks a weaker contest. The Willie Mullins trained Eoline Jolie hasn’t shown much in two starts since arriving from France but she is a class dropper here.
Waterville Dancer may struggle with the penalty after finally getting off the mark at Killarney last time out with a head victory in a maiden hurdle.
