FA CUP SUNDAY: We preview Sunday’s FA Cup Semi-Final between WATFORD v WOLVES with a recommended BETDAQ bet and extended match stats.

WATFORD V WOLVES

4pm This is undoubtedly the highlight of both sides season and what an occasion for both sets of fans. Wembley will be a rocking on Sunday afternoon and this should be an excellent clash between two evenly matched sides. There’s only one point between the sides in the Premier League table with Wolves in 7th and Watford in 8th and we expect a very close game here.

The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Watford 3.1, Wolves 2.58 and the draw is 3.35. Wolves beat Manchester United 2-1 to reach this semi-final and they repeated that scoreline when warming up for this clash during the week. Watford were recently beaten 2-1 by Untied; however they did boss the opening part of the game and they warmed up for this game by putting four goals past Fulham.

Watford are in good form coming into this clash – they’ve won four of their last seven with the three games they didn’t win coming against Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool. Wolves look a little short at 2.58 from a value point of view – there won’t be much between the sides here and we thought the odds should be a little bit closer together.

A draw at 3.35 is a tempting bet, as is over 2.5 goals at 2.2. Looking at both sides form, they rarely fail to score and we’re bound to see plenty of chances in a high tempo game. We’re happy to back the draw at 3.35 on balance – it’s hard to see anything but a very close game here and the 3.35 looks good value.
