SUNDAY WINNING NAP: FANCY FEAT landed SHAMROCK’S NAP (and only bet) on Sunday winning the fillies maiden at Gowran Park at an SP of 5/6.

A narrow win for the nap yesterday Fancy Feat (SP 5/6) who only just held on to win the fillies maiden at Gowran Park by a short head.

The action moves on to The Curragh on Monday where there are two Group races on the card.

The Coolmore Highland Reel Irish EBF Mooresbridge Stakes at 4.10pm should surely be at the mercy of Magical who should confirm Naas Alleged Stakes form with Flag Of Honour (2nd) and Latrobe (3rd) in what looks an action replay.

The Group 3 Coolmore Gleneagles Irish EBF Athasi Stakes at 3.35pm looks a lot more competitive.

Happen is the market leader after her reappearance second in the 1,000 Guineas Trial at Leopardstown – she should improve for that effort but needs to if the official ratings are to be taken at face value.

Jim Bolger’s Luceita won over course and distance on debut but hasn’t been seen since and is pitched in at the deep end here.

Foxtrot Liv has rock solid form and was so impressive when winning her maiden here over this trip by six lengths. She went on to finish second in both a Listed and the Group 3 Weld Park Stakes won by Hermosa. That form doesn’t look too bad now !!!

NAP: Foxtrot Liv (3.35 Curragh)
