FRIDAY DUNDALK NAP: SHAMROCK’s sequence of winning naps ended at six in a row. He bids to get back on track at Dundalk this evening.
The sequence of NAPS ended at six in a row with Five O’Clock turned over at short odds at Tramore – despite looking to have had the race in the bag. He was just outstayed after the last.

Sun: ENVOI ALLEN (NAP) WON 8/11
Tue: WILL BE KING (NAP) WON 7/4
Thu: BATCIO (NAP) WON 9/10
Sat: LONGHOUSE POET (NAP) WON evens
Sat: MIN (NAP) WON 8/11
Tue: FIVE O’CLOCK (NAP) 2nd
Another busy eight race card at Dundalk on Friday evening.
The Jim Bolger trained Assurance looks the best bet on the card in the fillies maiden at 5.45pm.
She was thrown in at Group 1 level on her debut in the Moyglare Stud Stakes and although finishing last of nine did show late progress.
She took third over course and distance here last month and should be able to build on that effort with the benefit of experience.
The debutant Cannoli is now a non runner which means that Brinjal now gets a run as a reserve, in the same Prince Abdullah colours. This one showed promise on debut at Naas but is trying the all-weather for the first time tonight.
