DAQMAN RESULTS: THREE WINNING BEST BETS IN FOUR DAYS: After six weekend winners made 100 points profit on Friday and Saturday, Daqman continued his winning naps sequence with a Sunday-morning odds-against bet on Battleoverdoyen (WON 4-9). The race cut up to just three runners and he made all to add to supernaps on Allhuman Kind (WON 6-5 on Friday) and Thyme Hill (WON 4-6 on Saturday).

DAQMAN RESULTS: HE’S THE TIPSTER WITH THE 2020 VISION: Bull’s-eye naps for 2019 are closed with a profit of 249 points profit but the big-race season with its value betting is back for the new year on Wednesday. ‘Get 2020 vision!’ says Daqman

MONDAY TRIO: DAQMAN has three bets from three venues on Monday with his NAP running at Taunton.

BULL’S-EYE NAPS NET 249 POINTS

Get 2020 vision! The sport goes quiet in the last two days of the year but New Year’s Day on Wednesday sees a resumption of racing at a high level, with top cards at Cheltenham and Fairyhouse on the day, and then Sandown on Saturday.

Daqman’s system of bets goes into 2020 with all specialised areas in profit, continuing to the end of the 2019-20 NH season when the Flat starts in March.

But the Bull’s-Eye Naps are on an annual basis and have now ended after their first year in 2019 produced 249 points profit to recommended stakes with eight winners from 17 selections.

The idea is to trap value best bets at better than the usual prices for a nap selection. The promise was two per month but they took time to establish themselves, before peaking in the summer months.

The anniversary of the launch is January 25 when the very first bull’s-eye nap, Cracking Find, won at 9-2 from 6.2 on BETDAQ.

The Bull’s-Eye Nap certainly turned out to be a cracking find, with more good-odds selections backed to win 50 points each, the star bet being 14-1 winner Pivoine in July.

Had you backed all selections up to and including Pivoine, you could have won 932 points profit for 20-point stakes at the BETDAQ offers taken, or 630 points at SP.

* 2019 RESULT: Bulls-eye naps 47% strike rate (+249pts at SP from 8-17)

MARIE LOOKING ROCK SOLID

The Christmas diet starts today. If not on the food front, certainly the racing front as the number of fixtures drop dramatically to just three. After the Christmas feast it is a positively slimline Monday.

2.25 Taunton (Byerley Stud Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle Listed Race) No Graded action today but an interesting mares’ novice hurdle at Taunton where the eye is drawn to Marie’s Rock who is unbeaten in two starts.

The Nicky Henderson trained runner won a bumper at Ffos Las (good ground) and then proved her effectiveness on today’s forecast soft with an easy win on her debut over hurdles at Haydock.

She only had to be shaken up that day and immediately responded, quickening clear for an impressive five length win proving she is a very exciting prospect.

It could be a battle between the recently OBE honoured trainers as chief danger is likely to come from the Paul Nicholls trained Silver Forever who has more experience than the selection.

Silver Forever is also a soft ground specialist and she has an impressive 4-7 career record – however when she was stepped up to this level at Newbury last time out she finished third fo Floressa (Henderson) and might also be bumping into one from that stable here.

The Alan King trained Midnight’s Gift comes right into the reckoning, certainly if you are looking for a place option in the race. She was a 12 length winner of a Listed event at Aintree, although was in second place when Galice Macalo came down at the last.

2.35 Haydock A very competitive handicap hurdle in which The Con Man heads the BETDAQ market. His chance will be boosted if my nap Marie’s Rock wins at Taunton just 10 minutes earlier as he finished five lengths second to her at Haydock!

The Con Man is up in trip for his handicap debut and whilst he looks progressive he is up against some battle hardened rivals here and doesn’t start handicap life off on what looks a particularly lenient looking mark of 123.

Flinck made a winning handicap debut at Warwick but there didn’t appear to be too much left in the tank and he is now up 4lb.

A better alternative might be the consistent Theatre Legend whose recent Wetherby second to Cornerstone Lad reads well and the pair finished well clear. He’s back up in trip today but that should suit and the ground certainly will.

2.45 Lingfield Ed Dunlop hasn’t had many runners recently but his last three have finished 123 and he could boost the form with Mercury Dime here.

She showed her best form yet when second over course and distance last time out in what looked a better contest than this with Sir Michael Stoute and John Gosden trained runners also on the podium.

The dangers include the Mark Johnston trained debutant Thai Terrier who worries me more than the rather exposed Exmoor Beast who might be better over a mile.

DAQMAN’S BETS (staked to win 10 points)
BET 4.7pts win (nap) MARIE’S ROCK (2.25 Taunton)
BET 2.0pts win THEATRE LEGEND (2.35 Haydock)
BET 4.5pts win MERCURY DIME (2.45 Lingfield)
