FORTUNE COOKIES: Early Birds

Aramon (Willie Mullins) injured/out for the season

Ballyadam (Gordon Elliott) Point winner, bumper winner and last week hurdles winner, very easily, from second and third in the frame who had both won the last day.

Chris’s Dream (Henry De Bromhead) Run out of the Ladbrokes Champion Chase (3m) at Down Royal on Saturday by The Storyteller; give him another chance, hopefully dropped back to 2m 4f.

Crosshill (Jessica Harrington) Superb performance at Punchestown and the second horse home, Vanillier, stays on the list.

Cyrname (Paul Nicholls) Precise, almost disdainful, victory in the Charlie Hall Chase and has King George, even a Gold Cup, as his likely target.

Easysland (David Cottin) Beat Tiger Roll in the cross-country at Cheltenham in March and could take in the two banks races at Cheltenham this winter.

Easywork (Gordon Elliott) Hat-trick horse over hurdles but ran too freely in the Ballymore. Could make his chasing debut at Navan on Sunday.

Envoi Allen (Gordon Elliott) Looked a complete natural over fences at Down Royal but we should still get a price as he tackles stronger opposition.

Darver Star (Gavin Cromwell) Impressive on his fencing debut.

Franigane (Harry Whittington) Related to winners over hurdles and fences and in cross-countrys.

Greaneteen (Paul Nicholls) won a kingmaker race, the Haldon Gold Cup at Exeter yesterday, looking strong at the finish.

McFabulous (Paul Nicholls) Exhibition round in the Persian War Novices at Chepstow.

Rouge Vif (Harry Whittington) Toyed with them over the last few fences at Cheltenham.

Saint Roi (Willie Mullins) Quickened clear to score at Tipperary.

Thyme White (Paul Nicholls) Target is the Greatwood.

Topofthegame (Paul Nicholls) Awesome winner of the RSA 2019.

Vanillier (Gavin Cromwell) Sure to win a novice hurdle soon

Runners so far: 20 points profit
0 Annie Mc (Jonjo O’Neill) unplaced; held up all the way, Aintree Sunday.
2 Chris’s Dream (Henry De Bromhead)
W Cyrname (Paul Nicholls) WON 3-1, Wetherby, Charlie Hall Chase
W Galvin (Gordon Elliottt) WON 2-1, Cheltenham, October 23. Impressive.
2 Vanillier (Gavin Cromwell) second BETDAQ maiden hurdle last Wednesday.

LOOKING BEYOND LEQUINTO

⭕ 1.30 Lingfield A competitive class 4 handicap here over seven furlongs with hat-trick seeking Lequinto heading the BETDAQ Betting Exchange.

The Tony Carroll trained runner has won both his last two starts on the Tapeta at Wolverhampton – the latest of which was also a class 4.

However, he is hiked up another 7lb and didn’t fire on his only previous outing at Lingfield so might be worth opposing.

His chance looks pretty similar to the better priced Radetsky who at least is a proven course and distance performer who scored twice here in the summer.

He races off a mark 8lb higher than the second of those wins but has run well since in better company and the Luke McJannet stable had a winner at Redcar yesterday.

The Eve Johnson Houghton trained My Style is seldom far away but has only ever raced at class 5 level on the all-weather and it’s still unproven that he can replicate his useful turf form on the artificial surface.

CHEERS TO VINO

⭕ 2.20 Musselburgh Vino’s Choice is a regular on the Scottish circuit and can gain a first win over fences here.

The Lucinda Russell trained runner was beaten by stable companion Mint Gold in a stable 1-2 last time out at Perth but that looked a solid effort in the context of today’s race.

He gets the same good ground today and should prove hard to beat against some modest rivals.

Donald McCain’s Court Jurado often flatters to deceive. He quickly went from looking the winner two out at Kelso last time out to eventually being beaten 18 lengths into third.

He has yet to win under Rules with a sequence including being a beaten favourite on three successive occasions!

SET FOR A SOLO

⭕ 2.30 Lingfield A fascinating class 2 handicap in which the admirable Good Effort bids for a four-timer.

He’s never been fully tuned up in the past after a break and has a 277 day break to overcome.

Better bet should be Han Solo Berger who is up 4lb for a class 2 win at Wolverhampton last time out. He holds four of today’s rivals on that form including the Richard Hughes trained Top Breeze who was a course and distance winner here in February.

There’s been support for Royal Birth but the Stuart Williams stable are 0-14 over the last two weeks and his nine-year-old here needs to show a little more than of late.

DAQMAN’S BETS (all staked to win 10 points, including place bet)
BET 1.7pts win and 5.8pts place RADETSKY (1.30 Lingfield)
BET 4.1pts win (nap) VINO’S CHOICE (2.20 Musselburgh)
BET 3.7pts win HAN SOLO BERGER (2.30 Lingfield)

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
