AUSTRALIA v INDIA: Our cricket tipster The Edge previews Tuesday’s 3rd T20 between Australia v India with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

MATCH OVERVIEW:
We stay in Sydney for the 3rd T20 on Tuesday as India look to complete a series sweep! Not many would have expected this after the first two ODI’s here when Australis scored 374/6 and 389/4 but India have been excellent in the T20 series. They chased down 194/5 in the 2nd T20 here with relative ease. We had a couple of flip flops in an excellent game for trading on BETDAQ Betting Exchange, but India will say they were always in control.
From an Indian point of view, they just need to keep playing good cricket. Their batting has been pretty impressive in the T20 series and they can probably improve their bowling. For Australia; they must improve their bowling. They looked very “hittable” in the last T20 and India always had that boundary ball just when they needed it. There wasn’t much wrong with the Aussie batting – improving from the 1st T20 but the bowling looked very loose. Perhaps we’ll see some changes today.
With the T20 series already decided, we might see some of the Test stars rested here with that series coming up. We could see some huge moves in the market when the teams news comes out. That’s definitely an angle to watch for.
WEATHER AND PITCH WATCH:
The forecast looks set fair for good game, although there is a strong wind forecast that could affect the game. Certainly you’ll want to be hitting with the wind rather than against it, and we could see lots of sixes towards one side of the ground and a few wickets caught in the deep on the other side. That might affect the bowlers run-ups too; but the SCG has looked excellent for batting throughout the whole tour. I’d expect more runs today, we might not get over 200 but we should easily see 180+.
RECOMMENDED BET:
It’s likely we’ll see more changes on the Australian side rather than India. I feel India won’t change much unless they see a player needs a rest before the Test series. With that in mind and India playing good cricket I like a small play on India at 1.87. We could see plenty of movement with the team news so it’s only worth a small play before we see that. Their batting looks strong and it’s difficult to see Australia improving now their focus will switch to the Test series.

IN-RUNNING STRATEGY:
It’s hard not to see another game full of trading swings with plenty of flip flops, so it should have plenty of in-running opportunity for trading. As I said above, this is a game to pay attention to the team news about half an hour before the off. Definitely check Twitter in the lead up to the game to see is there any team news spilling out too. With the SCG looking good for batting I would stick with the batting team for my trades too. That tactic worked a treat in the 2nd T20 and it’s hard to see it not working again here.
The Australian bowling looks pretty weak at the moment and there was always a “boundary ball” around the corner – I wouldn’t mind supporting India at big odds if they were chasing a high net run rate if that situation came around. Their tail has looked strong too. There’s also a strong wind forecast and watch out for that – that could produce some excellent trading opportunities throughout the game. Hitting a spinner downwind could result in plenty of sixes for example.
