DAQMAN DIGS OUT DIAMOND NAP: Daqman landed two winners out of three yesterday, finding the diamond in the rough yet again for another winning nap, back to back with Monday’s best bet. He tours the tracks today and has five bets, starting with a forecast at Ayr containing an 18.0 outsider, an afternoon best bet at Warwick and a Kempton double bid tonight.

GARDEN A PERFECT PLOT

⭕ 3.42 Ayr The 900,000gn Kingman yearling Return To Unit was a late starter in the autumn of his three-year-old career.

His connections were pleased with him then after gelding, and expectations are high on the back of Roger Varian’s current form figures: 232111.

The three strikes for Garden Oasis in Spring and summer last year, including here over the CD at Ayr, were all off marks higher than today, perfect plotting by trainer Tim Easterby to get Garden blooming again. BETDAQ 18.0.

⭕ 4.50 Ffos Las Hereford trainer Sarah-Jayne Davies (2-3 still standing) and jockey Charlie Price (3-4) are looking for a May hat-trick together as they team up with O’Grady’s Hill.

He has been any price you like over 2m and a bit, but the 3m Point winner has been dropped around two stone since he ran over a trip for Harry Derham. Betdaq Betting Exchange 9.7.

⭕ 5.00 Warwick Mojito Des Mottes was not expected at 25-1 on a sound surface at Ascot in March but wind surgery boosted his performance to a neck defeat in class 2.

Down a grade here, and with Harry Cobden taking over on his sole ride of the day, he deserves the nap vote. BETDAQ value at 3.5 this morning.

HE’S A WORKIN PROGRESS

⭕ 8.00 Kempton I’m Workin On It . He certainly is and he hasn’t done too badly.

Rod Milman’s gelding is 4-10 at Kempton (he’s raced only once at another track since his debut).

His 7f successes here came off 59 and 70 in class 5, then 73 and 81 in class 4. Yes, the handicapper is also ‘workin on it’ and today the four-year-old must win an overall 26lb higher off 85.

On the same mark but down in grade is Al Karrar, once upon a time second in a Group 2, but has not won since breaking his maiden, always a bad sign. The same applies to Rock Iguana and Sea Suite.

The grey Chalk Mountain has scored just once here and, like Noodle Mission, is now six and returning to the track after a lay-off.

HOCKNEY IN THE PICTURE

⭕ 8.30 Kempton Saffie Osborne has had nine winners and nine others placed from her last 40 rides. Her mount, Many A Star, is one of five CD winners in this sprint.

Change Sings is below his last winning mark here. Can the 7lb claimer make even more of a difference?

Amazonian Dream has won here 15lb lower and has had several aids and inducements over the years (hood, blinkers, cheekpieces); maybe the first-time visor will turn the dream into reality.

Hockney won back to back in the autumn – easily both times – and can do better this year after being badly drawn at Newcastle and not disgraced at Ascot, dropped to the minimum in a fast-run 5f sprint. BETDAQ 5.9.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
