NOW FOR THE NAPS FOUR-TIMER? Shamrock made it a hat-trick of winning naps following the easy success of Lily’s Angel (WON 8/11) in the Listed contest at Dundalk last night.
Lily’s Angel continues to impress since joining Ger Lyons and has taken particularly well to the all-weather surface at Dundalk – landing her hat-trick there last night in style.
It’s also given me a hat-trick of naps following the successes of Seefood (WON 13/8) on Wednesday, Roi Du Mee (WON 9/10) on Thursday and Lily’s Angel (WON 8/11) on Friday. So the pressure is on today to complete the four-timer !!
We head to the jumps card at Naas where the nap for me has to be Moscow Chief in the maiden hurdle at 2.10.
Last month I was taken by his win on debut in a bumper – beating Caoimhe’s Delight in some style and that form was given a boost when Caoimhe’s Delight went on to win at Punchestown.
He is certainly bred to do well over hurdles and doesn’t face the stiffest of tasks on his jumping debut this afternoon. A Decent Excuse sets the standard but the potential horse is most definitely Moscow Chief.
