THOUVA HOOVERS UP AT 13/8: No problems for the SHAMROCK NAP on Wednesday – THOUVA WON 13/8 – the only bet of the day.
Willie Mullins trained runners dominate three races on the card at Clonmel this afternoon with Fatcatinthehat in the opener, Glens Melody in the second race and Ballycasey in the finale.
All three should win but the odds are prohibitive. Glens Melody built up a sequence of three wins before finishing second to the very useful Minsk at Punchestown last time out and she should regain the winning thread in this company.
In the opener Fatcatinthehat ran out an easy winner at Galway on the flat in August and makes his jumping debut here. There’s a couple that might test him on his debut so it might not be as easy as the implied odds.
Ballycasey impressed on his bumper debut last year when beating Our Vinnie at Leopardstown. Our Vinnie has boosted the form subsequently and despite the lengthy absence Ballycasey, for me, looks the bet on the card.
