A few weeks back it was all looking a little grim for Celtic, but things are a lot rosier now as we head into the second Old Firm clash of the season. The first meeting didn’t exactly go to plan, but I’m confident the Hoops can bounce back in style this time around.

Over the past few weeks Celtic have slowly but surely whittled down Rangers’ lead and the momentum is all with the Hoops. Neil Lennon has done a fantastic job at the helm in steadying the ship following a tricky start to 2011/12.

These games are always the first to jump out of the SPL fixture list and this should be a cracking game. With the contest at Celtic Park, the Hoops have the advantage and they look a stand out bet at odds-against to get a hugely important win for the club.

The Hoops cruised to a 3-0 win on Rangers’ most recent SPL visit to Celtic Park, but I don’t think this will be anywhere near as easy. I still think the Hoops will shade this one and it sets up a massive second half of the campaign. I’d recommend taking the 11/10 on BETDAQ 1BET for a home win, which would be the perfect present for Hoops fans.

Gary Hooper has had a great few weeks in front of goal and he grabbed a brace in that comfortable 3-0 win over Rangers, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see his name on the score sheet.
