It’s the FA Cup fourth round this weekend and once again the draw hasn’t disappointed. Saturday’s big game involves Manchester United again and this time they travel to their other bitter rival – Liverpool. United’s 3-2 thriller against City last round shouldn’t have been that close as Sir Alex’s lot raced into a three goal lead against the ten men.

The Reds booked their place in this round with a far more comfortable win against Oldham following a confidence boosting 5-1 result. Andy Carroll found the back of the net and another here would be one way to get the backing of the Kop.

Kenny Dalglish will be the first to admit that his side just haven’t been good enough at Anfield this year and that’s strange given they have yet to be beaten in the league on Merseyside. There have been too many draws against clubs they should be hammering and that can be attributed to them not taking their chances.

Luis Suarez’s unavailability has really cost Liverpool upfront and that’s one area that United have no such concerns. United tore the Gunners to pieces for large parts of their 2-1 win last Sunday and I expect that to be the crucial difference in this tie.

This is the time of year that United come good and Sir Alex has done brilliantly to keep within touching distance of City given all their injury problems. United looked solid at the back against the Gunners and with the superior firepower they are a good thing to progress to the fifth round.

Sunday’s standout fixture is Aston Villa’s trip to the Emirates where we’ll have another chance to see Robbie Keane in action. The LA Galaxy striker scored a superb brace to complete the comeback against Wolves and he’ll be looking to make another statement against one of his former clubs biggest rivals.

Arsene Wenger’s side look all too porous at the back and Villa should hold no fear heading to North London. Fullback remains an Achilles heel for the Gunners and you can bet that Alex McLeish will be telling his players to get at the hosts on the flanks all day long.

A replay would be a great result for an improving Villa side and they are perfectly capable of adding to Wenger’s ever increasing problems.

I usually like to have an accumulator on over an FA Cup weekend and there’s a few sides I really fancy. Chelsea, Leicester, West Brom and Newcastle are all in with a good shout, so stick a bit on them all to win.
