Swansea have done brilliantly this season and although they’ve found life on the road difficult, they are unbeaten at the Liberty Stadium. That impressive record is sure to come under serious threat though when Manchester United visit on Saturday afternoon.

Sir Alex Ferguson’s side have done well to bounce back from their mauling against City and the Scot will have been especially pleased with the run of clean sheets. Before the internationals, United were lucky to get away with a 1-0 victory over Sunderland at Old Trafford courtesy of an own goal from Wes Brown. There will be some that think United will walk this one, but I reckon they will be really pushed at Swansea.

The main concern for Brendan Rodgers is that Wayne Rooney was not in action for England over the past week or so, meaning he’ll be chomping at the bit to go again. Rooney hasn’t scored since the Chelsea game and he looks a good bet to get his name on the score sheet here.

The standout fixture of the weekend is Chelsea’s match against Liverpool and the hosts are my banker of the weekend. The Blues are available at around 1.88 on BETDAQ and that price should be jumped at. Andre Villas-Boas’ lot are proving a little tricky for me to get my head round, but at that price they should be backed all day long. They are much stronger at the back and with Juan Mata pulling the strings; they have the weapons to put Liverpool away.

Of course Fernando Torres will line up against his former employers and it’s written in the stars that the boy scores.

The final game of this round of fixtures should also be an entertaining contest as Spurs welcome Aston Villa to White Hart Lane. Harry Redknapp has worked his magic to get Spurs’ season back on track and they are on awesome form at the moment.

Rafael Van der Vaart and Luka Modric are both wonderful players and bring a huge amount of creativity to Spurs. Villa won’t go down without a fight and Spurs will need to be mindful of the budding partnership of Gabby Agbonlahor and Darren Bent, but ultimately they will be too strong.
