Thursday’s highlight, the Ladbrokes World Hurdle looks set to be a mouth watering clash between Annie Power and Big Buck’s.

The Three Mile Grade 1 Hurdle had 12 horses declared at the 48 hour stage, including the amazing mare Quevega, but it is yet to be seen if she will take her place or not.

At Fishers Cross is the mount of Champion Jockey, AP McCoy for Rebecca Curtis and having finished second in the Cleeve Hurdle in January, ahead of Big Buck’s on that occasion, he looks likely to be in the mix also.

Rule The World and Mala Beach are the only other Irish trained runners in the field while previous Cheltenham Festival winners, Celestial Halo, Medinas, Salubrious and Zarkandar take their chance along with the gambled on More Of That who will be the mount of Barry Geraghty and Reve De Sivola.

In the other big race on the day, the Ryanair Chase, 12 runners are set to go to post headed by Al Ferof, Benefficient and Dynaster. Willie Mullins looks to have another strong hand with Boston Bob while the sponsors Gigginstown House Stud rely solely on the Dessie Hughes trained Rathlin.

Tuesday’s big race winning owner, JP McManus has Cantlow, who also ran yesterday in the Rewards4Racing Novice Handicap Chase. The well fancied Hidden Cyclone and Menorah also take their chance while Hunt Ball, Kauto Stone, Medermit and Rajdhani Express make up the line up.

There is another field of 12 set to line up for the JLT Novice’s Chase with Wonderful Charm, Oscar Whiskey and Taquin Du Seuil heading the list of declared runners.

Willie Mullins runs three with Djakadam, Felix Yonger and Mozoltov heading the Irish runners in the race.

The very classy Fingal Bay heads a field of 24 for the competitive Pertemps Networkd Final over Three miles. There is a slightly smaller Irish contingent in this race with just three runners, Jetson, Seefood and Vics Canvas taking on the English runners.

There is another big field set to line up for the Byrne Group Plate at 4.00 over two and a half miles. Tony McCoy has opted to ride Colour Squadron as opposed to the ante post favourite Tap Night. Both Nicky Henderson and Venetia Williams will be busy in this race with three runners each.

The sixth and final race of the day is the Fulke Walwyn Kim Muir which is confined to Amateur riders and again fields 24. Last year’s winner, Same Difference again takes his chance while there are four Irish trained runners, headed by Cause of Causes.
