After what seemed a lengthy absence of top class football we are in for a treat tonight at the Eimirates as Premier League leaders Arsenal take on last year’s beaten finalists Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
If the betting is anything to go by – there will be plenty of goals. Over 2.5 goals is firmly odds-on and both teams come here on the back of easy wins in their previous Champions League games. Arsenal beating Napoli 2-0 and Dortmund beating Marseille 3-0.
Arsenal are now on a 12-match unbeaten run in all competitions – 10 of them victories – and it seems a long time since their opening home defeat to Aston Villa on the first day of the season with the inevitable “Wenger Out” cries made.
England forward Theo Walcott remains sidelined following a minor setback after surgery on an abdominal problem, but otherwise the Gunners have no fresh injury problems following the 4-1 Barclays Premier League win over Norwich.
We kept it simple last night with a win on Fulham – and will do so again with Arsenal but also have a little interest in the ANY OTHER SCORE option on BETDAQ’s correct score market.
