The BETDAQ Champions League Competition winner, Ben White is on his way to Lisbon, as we speak, on the trip of a lifetime to see Real and Atletico Madrid face off in the Champions League Final.
During April, BETDAQ put forward the top prize of a fully paid trip for two people to the Champions League Final worth £10,000 and all you had to do to enter was bet a minimum of £10.
Ben, who is a ‘’massive football fan’’, won the coveted prize backing Atletico Madrid in their matches during the month and received the surprise call telling him that he had won at the beginning of May.
He is travelling to Lisbon this morning, Friday, along with friend Tom Hutt, who will be taking a side each in the first ever Champions League Final to be contested by two teams from the same city.
Having backed Atletico to win the title, White said; ‘’I’m on Atletico to win the Champions League and I had backed them during April so they owe me very little. Tom, who is travelling with me, really fancies Real to win so we will have a right laugh with it, we are both massive football fans.’’
White could hardly believe his luck when he received the call from the BETDAQ head office informing him of the win; ‘’It took a while to sink in that I had actually won something. I thought it was a joke when they phoned at first but it wasn’t until I was talking to them again later that day that I actually believed it.
‘’This is definitely the best prize I’ve ever won and I can’t wait for the final, we owe a massive thank you to BETDAQ for giving us the trip of a lifetime.’’
