CALANDAGAN WORLD CHAMPION: Calandagan and the mare Golden Ace have both won in the last 24 hours in a racing roulette of luck and perseverance. Because ‘he’ is a gelding, Calandagan’s career sent him to Tokyo where he took £4.9m for the Japan Cup. Golden Ace had to prove she is a true champion hurdler, ignored at 22-1 as punters were fooled by the form.

DAQMAN’S TWO OUT OF THREE TWICE: Daqman has built a steady profit this week (42.50) in four days without loss, scoring two out of three at Newbury yesterday, back to back with the same score on Thursday.

BETDAQ VALUE BOOSTS PROFIT: There was extra gold at the end of Rainbow Nebula’s run at Newcastle yesterday, thanks to big value on BETDAQ before the race. Daqman scored two out of three and took his profit to 34 points in three days without loss.

SUPERNAP WINS 8 LENGTHS CLEAR: Daqman’s three daily bets finished 212 yesterday, including a 6-1 runner-up beaten a neck. His supernap, Paggane, won by more than eight lengths, giving him back-to-back best bets and a profit on the day of nine points.

STAR NAP LANDS A GAMBLE: Daqman’s star choice won as the money horse at the Wolverhampton evening meeting yesterday, so he’s quickly back to form after the weekend run of big-race winners (see Monday’s story).

THE MAN FOR THE BIG OCCASION: Tipping warrior Daqman won the chase of the season so far in Ireland yesterday, continuing a sequence which started with a bull’s-eye bet at Kempton Park. Since then he has scored at the Grade-1 tracks of Ascot, Haydock and Punchestown in a long weekend of big races, winning 150 points from five events.

ANOTHER NATIONAL FOR DAQMAN Daqman’s only bull’s-eye bet, Martator, finished second at Ascot at 11-1 yesterday but he won the Berkshire National there and landed his nap at Haydock for four big-race winners in four days.
