FAVOURITES FALL LIKE THE RAIN: The long-weekend mudbath has been a bloodbath for favourites, with major reversals at Sandown, Leopardstown and Musselburgh, despite small fields. Even on AW, nine favourites failed to reach the frame!

DUBLIN CHAMPION HURDLE TODAY: Daqman’s six-day gallop of profit after profit (all six days) and nap after nap (five of them) came unstuck in deep ground yesterday when rain ruined plans for the Dublin Festival. Saturday’s Gold Cup card is now run tomorrow. The Champion Hurdle programme goes ahead today but expect more shocks in the mud!

YES! SIX WINNING DAYS IN A ROW: Wind and rain failed to blow Daqman off course yesterday as he hit SIX consecutive winning days with FIVE naps up (two of them maximum-stakes supernaps) and a total haul of 85.12 points.

DIAMOND DAY FOR DAQMAN! Daqman yesterday went 67.70 points up in five consecutive winning days with his fourth successful nap, a 12-1 forecast and a 9-4 winner which was taken at 5.9 on BETDAQ.

NAPS HAT-TRICK FOR DAQMAN: Daqman had the call again yesterday! He landed a hat-trick of naps from Naas on Sunday to Punchestown on Monday and a weather-beating Wolverhampton on Tuesday.
