CHARM HAS THEM IN HIS SPELL: Daqman’s nap Potters Charm (WON 1-2) was squeezed for price but not for value as he strolled clear for the Twiston-Davies team in the National Spirit Hurdle at Fontwell yesterday.

GOING CLARE IN THE NATIONAL: Last year’s Grand National third, Grangeclare West won yesterday’s Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse (Daqman tipped) in the hoofprints of the last two National winners, I Am Maximus and Nick Rockett. But those two run in the Gold Cup at Cheltenham next month and it’s still a long way to Aintree on April 11.

DAQMAN ART OF WINNER FINDING: Daqman dares to bet in the four biggest races of the day today spread across Fairyhouse, Kempton, Lingfield and Newcastle after landing one yesterday, the Devon National at Exeter, with an 8.1 bull’s-eye bet.
