CHAMPIONS LEAGUE WEDNESDAY: We preview Wednesday’s Champions League match between LIVERPOOL v HOFFENHEIM with a recommended BETDAQ bet.

7.45pm After a long wait, Champions League football finally returns to Anfield. Liverpool lead 2-1 after an eventful first leg in Germany, with Hoffenheim missing an early penalty which could have really changed the course of the game. Both sides had plenty of chances in the first leg, and with Hoffenheim needing to win and Liverpool’s style of play, tonight should be very entertaining.
Liverpool are odds on favourites, with the odds at the time of writing; Liverpool 1.69, Hoffenheim 5.5 and the draw is 4.3. Both sides recorded 1-0 wins at the weekend, with Liverpool struggling to convert chances for much of the game against Crystal Palace – they are desperately missing Coutinho and Lallana. Based on the first leg though, you’d have to say that Liverpool look to be a shade big at 1.69 and if there was a bet to be had in the match odds market, that would be it.
However, this game just screams goals to us. Especially with Hoffenheim needing to overturn an away goal too, they simply have to come out attacking – and its highly likely that this plays into Liverpool’s hands too. They’ll enjoy the space, and this could be a real end-to-end game. Over 3.5 goals is trading 2.4 at the moment and that will be our best bet tonight.
