CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: We preview Tuesday’s Champions League Quarter Final games between JUVENTUS v REAL MADRID and SEVILLA v BAYERN MUNICH both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
JUVENTUS V REAL MADRID
7.45pm We start the Champions League Quarter Finals with a bang as last years finalists meet! All the focus in England will be on Liverpool v Manchester City, but this is the tie of the round. Real Madrid have a superb record in the Champons League, however playing Juventus at home is a true test and this will be a fascinating game to watch. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Juventus 3.05, Real Madrid 2.68 and the draw is 3.3.
These two have met each other quite a bit in recent seasons – this is their sixth game in the last five years. Looking at the results of those game, both teams have score every time – so that bet certainly has to be of interest here, however first legs can be very cagey affairs. Both Teams To Score is trading 1.88, while over 2.5 goals is 2.24 – Real have had plenty of goals in their games this season and we can’t see why that trend won’t continue here. First legs can always be cagey, but there is plenty of star quality for both sides up front here and we can see goals – over 2.5 looks too big at 2.24.

SEVILLA V BAYERN MUNICH
7.45pm This is an interesting clash, however we must say that Manchester United were very poor against Sevilla – and Bayern Munich were probably delighted with this draw. United’s tactics at home were very poor, and Sevilla were able to take full advantage. It’s hard to see Bayern approaching this tie like United did, although they will probably be happy to take a draw back to Germany for the second leg. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Sevilla 5.7, Bayern Munich 1.67 and the draw is 4.3.
Looking at Bayern’s away record in the Champions League doesn’t make for positive reading. They’ve only had one away win in the Knockout stages since the 2013/14 season – very poor for a side like them. That win came against their favourite side too, Arsenal! With Sevilla impressive display at the back, although without much attacking from United, and Bayern’s poor away record – we can see this game being very cagey. Under 2.5 goals is trading 2.34 which looks far too big and that will be our best bet.
