CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUEDSDAY: We preview Tuesday’s two mega Champions League games between LIVERPOOL v BAYERN MUNICH and LYON v BARCELONA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
LIVERPOOL V BAYERN MUNICH
8pm We had some super ties in the Champions League last week; however this one might turn into the one with the most action as we see two very attacking teams face off. Bayern have shown that they are “beatable” at elite level this season, and with Liverpool top of the Premier League and playing some good football – you have to feel that Klopp’s men might not get a better chance to beat Bayern.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Liverpool 2.24, Bayern Munich 3.45 and the draw is 3.75. The average football fan is only going to expect one thing here and that’s goals – and looking at the stats who could blame them! Bayern have so much talent going forward, however you’d have to describe them as poor at the back and we can really see Liverpool taking advantage of that tonight. The home side have shown some signs of the pressure getting to them in the Premier League however they will welcome this tie and we can see Klopp setting his side up to really go for the kill against a poor Bayern defence. We like the home win at 2.24; Liverpool have an excellent record at home in the Premier League this season and Bayern are there for the taking.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Liverpool to beat Bayern Munich at 2.24.

LYON V BARCELONA
8pm Everyone might be expecting lots of goals between Liverpool and Bayern Munich tonight, but you could well see more in this tie! Lyon have seen some crazy scorelines and it’s hard to see Barcelona playing any other way than their usual attacking style. Messi has been in superb form this season and he is really carrying the side at the moment – he seems to be doing everything and to such a high standard to. It’s hard to see him not running the show again tonight.
Barcelona are odds on favourites but don’t underestimate this Lyon side. The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Lyon 4.8, Barcelona 1.83 and the draw is 4.0. It may have come as a shock to everyone, but Lyon have managed to beat Manchester City already in this competition and took another one off them in the other fixture in the Group too – finishing unbeaten. They’ve also beaten PSG this season and with Barcelona relying so much on Messi, we quite like the Barcelona lay here at 1.83 which feels at least ten ticks too short given Lyon’s form in the Champions League this season. We expect a closer game than the odds suggest here and we’re happy to lay Barcelona from a value point of view.
BETDAQ BEST BET:
Lay Barcelona at 1.83.
