CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TUESDAY: We preview Tuesday’s Champions League games between TOTTENHAM V CRVENA ZVEZDA and MANCHESTER CITY V ATALANTA both with a recommended BETDAQ bet.
TOTTENHAM V CRVENA ZVEZDA
8pm The Champions League returns on Tuesday night and we kick things off with the struggling Spurs hosting Crvena Zvezda – or Red Star Belgrade as they are more widely known. Spurs have been woeful this season – they’ve slightly flew under the radar because of how bad Manchester United have been, but they’re already in trouble for a Top Four finish and there’s no signs of them improving. They were 1.44 at home to Watford, who sit bottom of the Premier League at the weekend and couldn’t win – they are shorter tonight, and it will be a brave punter who backs them!
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Tottenham 1.31, Crvena Zvezda 12.5 and the draw is 6.0. It’s impossible to back Spurs at the moment, especially at odds as short as 1.31. They’ve had just three wins all season and find themselves in a tough situation Group B already. Obviously a win here would be massive for them in their bid for second now, as Bayern Munich look certain for top spot. Spurs are so short it makes the handicap betting very appealing – Crvena Zvezda are 2.02 +1.5 goals and given how bad Spurs have been, even if they grind a win it’s likely to be pretty and we can’t see the home side covering that handicap.

MANCHESTER CITY V ATALANTA
8pm Manchester City would have been pleased to close to gap on Liverpool at the top of the Premier League table over the weekend, and now they have a great chance to go clear and a long way to sealing top spot in Group C. Atalanta have lost their two opening games in this Group and this should be a routine win for City if we’re being honest. Atalanta lost at home to Shakhtar Donetsk and shipped four goals away to Dinamo Zagreb.
The match odds at the time of writing currently trade; Manchester City 1.25, Atalanta 14.5 and the draw is 7.6. It’s very difficult to see how Atalanta can stop City scoring given the previous results in this Group. We like City to cover the 2.5 goal handicap here which looks massive at 2.42 – that looks cracking value and the best of the night. City have scored two goals in each of their last three games with conceding, but they can rack up a score tonight against this Atalanta side.
