CSKA Moscow v Tottenham
7.45pm After getting beaten on Match Day 1 at home to Monaco, Spurs might have to take a few chances away here to get all three points, however despite this being CSKA’s first Champions League match at the brand new Arena CSKA, it’s always been a tough place for clubs to come away with a win considering the travel and weather – CSKA have lost just one of their last seven home Champions League games.
A positive for Spurs though is that CSKA have conceded at least once in all of their last 23 Champions League matches, that’s quite a stat and surely the Spurs forwards will be able to find a way through at some stage. We still feel though that Moscow is a tough place to travel to and come away with the win so we prefer over 2.5 goals at 2.18 than Spurs to win at 2.48. Spurs draw-no-bet is certainly another solid option at around the 1.76.

Dortmund v Real Madrid
7.45pm Fair to say there’s a bit of pressure on Real Madrid here for a positive result after two disappointing draws in La Liga giving up ground to Barcelona. They couldn’t have picked a trickier trip either against a Dortmund side who have scored a whopping 20 goals in their last four matches in all competitions, kick started by winning 6-0 away on Match Day 1.
You cant argue with the match odds of Dortmund 2.56, Real Madrid 2.84 and the draw 3.85 – Dortmund seem to be rightfully favourites given their recent form but possibly the best way to play this one is the goals market – obviously Dortmund games have been packed with goals lately and Madrid have had at least two goals in their last six matches in all competitions, with four of them having over 2.5 – we like 2.5 goals here at around 1.57.

Leicester v Porto
7.45pm After the high of winning 3-0 away to Club Brugge on the Match Day 1 Leicester arrive into this game in what you might call a mini-crisis. Some of their defending the weekend against United was laughable and they went in a half-time 4-0 down after conceding three to corners. The question is how will they react to that hammering? Their first Champions League night at home might be a useful distraction and there’s no doubt the stadium will be rocking but one wonders how much their confidence will have been knocked in recent week? They also conceded four to Liverpool and then four to Chelsea in the Cup, albeit including extra time.
For the time being the jury is still out on the Leicester back four and Porto will look to take advantage – they managed to beat Roma 3-0 away in qualifying so the Leicester lay looks appealing at around the 2.3 mark but considering the goals in both teams recent games it’s hard to get away from over 2.5 goals at 2.24 here and that will be our best bet.
