CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: We preview Wednesday’s Champions League games between SEVILLA v MAN U and SHAKHTAR v ROMA with recommended BETDAQ bets.
SEVILLA V MANCHESTER UNITED
7.45pm We have two very interesting games tonight! We also have two very open markets, with the match odds trading; Sevilla 3.2, Manchester United 2.56 and the draw is 3.3 at the time of writing. United got back to winning ways at the weekend against Huddersfield in the FA Cup, however prior to that game they lost 1-0 away to Newcastle and then 2-0 away to Spurs. Jose Mourinho is always quite negative with his team formation in these big away games too, and United look too short at 2.56.
Sevilla have a great home record in Europe too, as well as that they beat Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid in La Liga here last season. United had an easy group, and it will be very interesting to see how they play against a well set-up Sevilla side. At the odds, we cannot get away from the United lay at 2.56 – with the way they play away from home and the quality of Sevilla, those odds look way too short.

SHAKHTAR V ROMA
7.45pm We have another very open match odds market here – with Shakhtar 2.56, Roma 3.1 and the draw 3.4 at the time of writing. Not far from the odds from the Sevilla v United game, except the home side are favourites. Roma topped a very tight group including Chelsea and Atletico Madrid – 11 points was all it took to finish top, a fair bit below what other sides topped their groups with. While Shakhtar were comfortably second best in Manchester City’s group.
We feel that Roma have their work cut out here to stop Shakhtar from winning. They won all three of their home games in the group, although they did meet a weakened Manchester City side – however they still beat them! Roma’s away record isn’t strong either – it’s likely they will come here to defend and get back to Italy with a draw. We feel that Shakhtar can win here, although we prefer the Roma lay at 3.1 which looks very good value.
