NAP, NAP, NAP IN FOUR-DAY SPELL: Daqman landed three naps out of four with Politics his only runner yesterday after Southwell alone survived the cold spell:

Thursday profit on the day 10.00
WON 6-5 POLITICS (nap)

Wednesday profit on the day 15.50
WON 11-8 MASO BASTIE (nap)
WON 11-8 HICKORY

Monday: profit on the day 16.90
WON 6-1 OWER STARLIGHT
WON 6-4 VITESSE DU SON (nap)

⚠️ INSPECTION AT LINGFIELD: AW racing continues to save the day, with Southwell and Kempton surviving, and Lingfield and Chelmsford tomorrow’s fare, if Lingfield passes a precautionary inspection at 7.30 a.m. Fairyhouse can’t race tomorrow and has been rescheduled for next Wednesday.

MAN-MADE TRACK TO SUCCESS

Who’s hot in the deep freeze? Well, trainers who have done well for me on AW this week, landing my three naps, are Alice Haynes, James Fanshawe and Michael Appleby. All three have had two winners in the last few days, but George Boughey has had three.

⭕ 1.25 Southwell Boughey’s eye-opening 66 AW winners this year (132 all told) continues his fast-track rise to the top at a higher rate than any new yard I can recall. He has already passed the £3m prizemoney mark.

Boughey, who has scored at Wolverhampton (2) and Southwell this week, is back at Southwell today with one runner: Solar Prophet, an acquisition from Harry Dunlop.

Very little form to go on but switching from a losing yard and wearing a first-time tongue-tie are so expected to boost his chance that he was the money horse with bookies last night for the opener this afternoon.

Yet this morning, there is BETDAQ value of 9.4 as I write, with the exchange favourite, Walking On Clouds, though only ever a winner once (1-14).

Alan Brown, who has just landed a double at Wolverhampton, also has his sole runner of the day in this, Blackjack, whose only AW success (1-11) was at Wolverhampton.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 9.4 Solar Prophet

DESTINY CALLING AT LAST..

⭕ 2.35 Southwell Michael Appleby is now responsible for Stone Of Destiny, who won the Portland in 2020 but has sometimes tried hard not to score since in 22 attempts.

He’s down 22lb on his rating at the start of this year but needs a strong pace and all the kidology Jason Watson can muster from the saddle.

Andrew Balding finally gave up on him but he could benefit from the change of stable and today’s field, which is for the lowest class of animal he’s raced against on AW since the Spring of 2018.

And the good news is that La Roca Del Fuego and Twilight Madness have won seven races from the front between them; so pace guaranteed.

BETDAQ value 8.2 Stone Of Destiny

19.0 PUNT AT A NEW TRIP

⭕ 4.55 Southwell Brian Ellison has hit the mark the last twice, at Southwell and Wolverhampton, so would complete a hat-trick if Minhaaj managed this.

Minhaaj has dropped 26lb since she last won a race and has been within three lengths of scoring on seven occasions in sprints and is unexposed at her new trip of 7f. Big value at BETDAQ 19.0 this morning.

⭕ 6.15 Kempton Jane Chapple-Hyam, who scored at Southwell with her penultimate starter, switches to Kempton, with first-time cheekpieces on Ready Reckoner, stepped up to a mile after twice finishing well over shorter. BETDAQ 4.7

HE’S IN GOOD ORDER NOW

⭕ 7.15 Kempton So highly is Charlie Appleby’s Noble Order regarded at home that he’s started odds-on in his three races since the debut.

He’s far from a morning glory. Kempton winner over the CD in January, he looked short of work when returning, third, here last month after gelding and wind ops, and the market says he will turn round the form with the winner that day, Top Secret.

The obvious danger is Court Of Session but he was put in his place by an Appleby favourite at Wolverhampton at the end of last month

The blinkers which got Unforgotten home at Newcastle in the Spring of 2021 are left off for this belated return.

BETDAQ value 3.1 Noble Order

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
