ALLEY BOWLING PRICEWISE OUT! Alligator Alley (WON 9-2 from 6.7 taken on BETDAQ) covered most of Daqman’s bets yesterday and took him further ahead of Pricewise (45-22) at Newcastle last night.
BETS AT THREE MEETINGS TODAY: Daqman bets at Carlisle, Ffos Las and Thirsk today, and finds an odd situation at Navan tomorrow..
SATURDAY AND SUNDAY TOMORROW!
THEY call it the Silly Season and tomorrow’s Navan card will surely attract a crazy double: Mr Saturday (2.15) runs for Ger Lyons and Colin Keane and Sunday Miss (4.00) for Luke Comer and Robbie Colgan.
At Haydock in 2015 two horses ran in the same race at Haydock, one called Seve, the other called Ballesteros. They finished within a short-head of each other: 11th and 12th! Poor tee shots maybe.
Harley trained by Davison ran at the old Lewes track, but – myth or fact? – the most unwelcome double as far as bookies were concerned is said to have been Cheer Up (won 66-1) and Never Say Die (won 33-1) on the same card at Epsom in the Fifties.
👀 Watch your bets today: Allez Allez Dancer and Dancing Dani both run 4.08 Fontwell. Princess Midnight misses the 3.08 at Fontwell; Midnight It Is runs in the 6.55 at Wexford. And at Thirsk (2.20) there’s Time to spare..
IT’S TIME FOR A BUICK TREBLE
⭕ 2.20 Thirsk Times Ticking and Trust Time, both by Time Test, both running in this for Ollie Pears this afternoon. But the race looks a good thing for Thyer, barring accident.
The son of Gleneagles ran a good third at Newbury on the debut and he’s the first of four hot rides for William Buick.
⭕ 2.50 Thirsk Cinderella’s Dream (Buick for Charlie Appleby) has been off since May but is a Shamardal out of a Dubawi mare, the ingredients of many a success for Godolphin.
Shin Jidai debuted with a win at Newcastle but the runner-up was down the field at Ripon afterwards. BETDAQ 2.4 Cinderella’s Dream.
⭕ 3.20 Thirsk Ingra Tor (out of the one stall) has had a break after being gelded but has won first time back before, with a battle of tactics likely against Tinto (in the adjacent stall).
Fast And Loose is weighted to close down Tinto from their one-three at Redcar last month but Fast And Loose, who has only ever won a three-horse race, much prefers being beaten, as revealed by form-figures surrounding the win (in first-time cheekpieces) last July of 33200212022303.
Betdaq Betting Exchange 5.2 Ingra Tor, 8.2 Tinto
A ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME..
⭕ 1.30 Carlisle Edward Bethell’s Middleham Moor outfit is striking at a rate (near 25%) usually reserved for the top southern yards.
I’m havina’ bet on Havana Rose to beat Ed Dunlop’s Leicester winner Lunar Streets who is claimed off to help nullify the penalty.
But Dunlop is missing strike with only one of his last four favourites even reaching the frame (third), whereas Bethell is on a hat-trick.
Bethell had one runner Wednesday (joint favourite WON 7-2), and one yesterday (favourite, won 11-4). Havana Rose was 3.0 on BETDAQ this morning.
Bethell reveals his confidence in Regional for the Haydock Park Sprint Cup next weekend. Fifth in the Nunthorpe, Regional may benefit from the extra furlong at Haydock.
⭕ 6.20 Ffos Las William Haggas needs two wins for the ton-up this year and is 3-3 at ffos Las in the last five years; another winner is on the curriculum via Syllabus (cheekpieces first time).
Insanity (Rossa Ryan) had Syllabus behind at Windsor but he’s been gelded after a poor effort at Chelmsford the last day – in fact, back in July – and the stable is currently 1-12.
⭕ 7.50 Ffos Las Ralph Beckett is 6-11 going to Ffos Las with just the one runner, Lock The Vault, blinkered first time.
His Ffos Las score is a stunning 11-30 (21 of them placed) for a huge level-stakes profit. While I’ve opposed jockey Rossa Ryan in the 6.20, it would be insanity to swerve his chance on Lock The Vault at BETDAQ 4.3.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
