DAQMAN’S THREE WINS IN TWO RACES: Daqman’s nap ran second yesterday but then he landed three winners in his two other races! It happened because he named both dead-heaters in the same race at Southwell. So for the second day running, he won two out of three and finished in profit for the fourth consecutive day for a total of almost 46 points.

SPLASH OUT ON TOP FILLY
⭕ 2.12 Newmarket (Bosra Sham Fillies Listed, 6f) Eve Johnson Houghton, who saw her 118-rated two-year-old colt Zavateri beaten only a head by Gstaad in the National Stakes, can make a splash among the juvenile fillies here.
Palmeira (drawn 20) has experience at Group level but could be overtaken in the ratings by stablemate Splish Splash (14) – Wootton Bassett out of a Moyglare winner – who was named for the Fred Darling trial next Spring after landing a gamble by more than five lengths at Haydock.
⭕ 2.20 Wetherby A juvenile hurdle which has thrown up useful winners saddled by Paul Nicholls, Dan Skelton, Gordon Elliott and James Owen.
Owen today Sean Bowen on a dual winner, Ammes, who can complete his hat-trick after easy strikes at Sedgefield and Chepstow.
⭕ 2.55 Wetherby A class-1 handicap chase in which Magistrato goes for a four-timer, hiked 20lb for a hat-trick, with his last win here at Wetherby in an exercise canter, his sole rival tailed off.
Another for Sean Bowen, getting 12lb from Homme Public who has to overcome 222 days’ absence, and with Thistle Ask reappearing after only six days, in stark contrast to long absences after each of his last two successes.
BREEDERS CUP TURF TONIGHT
🇺🇸 9.45 Del Mar (Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf Sprint)
RESULTS BY STALL: 2017 Del Mar 9, 5, 8 (12 ran); 2021 Del Mar 6, 3, 2 (12 ran); 2024 Del Mar 3, 4, 9 (12 ran).
Queen Mary and Cheveley Park winner (from Havana Anna), True Love is the daughter of a Breeders Cup Turf Sprint runner-up.
But she is drawn 9 under Wayne Lordan and O’Brien stablemate Brussels (Middle Park and Cornwallis runner-up) has Christopher Soumillon up from the one stall.
James Owen’s Aspect Island (out of 4 under Frankie Dettori) was third, leading close home, in the Cornwallis.
🇺🇸 11.05 Del Mar (Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf, 1m) Won by the one stall twice in the last three Del Mar Breeders Cups and won by Aidan O’Brien two years out of the last three.
But his hot favourite Precise (Soumillon) comes out of gate 13, Andrew Balding’s Pacific Mission (Colin Keane) from next door in 12 and Donnacha O’Brien’s Balantina (Oisin Murphy) from 10.
My fancies are Queen Of Hawaii (Dylan Brown McMonagle for Joseph O’Brien), whose dam is a Breeders Cup winner, and the progressive Imaginationthelady (Frankie Dettori) out of stalls 2 and 3.
OUTFIELDER IN THE MORNING
🇺🇸 00.25 Del Mar, Saturday (Breeders Cup Juvenile Turf, 1m) Aidan O’Brien has won this five times in the decade and is on a four-timer after Victoria Road at Keeneland, Unquestionable at Santa Anita and Henri Matisse here at Del Mar last year.
RESULTS BY STALL: 2017 Del Mar 1, 2, 8 (14 ran), 2021 Del Mar 1, 3, 5 (13 ran), 2024 Del Mar 12, 6, 11 (12 ran) when the placed horses went wide.
Gstaad (out of 14), beaten in three consecutive Group 1 since winning the Coventry. Has an even wider berth than Henri Matisse (12) who won despite being forced to switch wide last year.
Champions Day conditions-race runner-up, Ardisia (Oisin Murphy for Hugo Palmer) comes out of 10, North Coast (Joseph O’Brien) out of 6.
Wesley Ward’s Outfielder (gate 3 under David Egan) had to miss Royal Ascot. Fourth when Gstaad was runner-up in the Morny, back to form on fast ground the last day.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
