CELEBRATING SOME OF THE GREAT 80: After a fantastic finish to another great Flat season for Daqman, we celebrate today with a list of the best feature-race winners among the 80 returns against Pricewise. All will be entered in the Daqman Library.
GOLD ALREADY SO CLOSE IN NATIONAL: Daqman went straight back on the big-value attack yesterday over Jumps, but his 9.2 Betdaq bet, Forever Gold (2nd 7-1), failed by half a length – short of room on the rails – to win the Cork National.
DAQMAN TODAY: Field sizes are low in quantity this Monday but high on quality as there are platy of high class national hunt horses on show on both sides of the Irish Sea. DAQMAN has eyed up a couple of these small runner fields and looks to turn a healthy profit to start the week.
TOMORROW: Daqman’s NH horses to follow, Fortune Cookies for the jumps season.

KEMPTON: CAMPING GROUND TO TOPPLE HILL
2.00 Kempton Only three go to post here and in reality it is a match between Coastal Tiep and Pickamix and preference is for the former. A point to point winner on his second start, it was encouraging that he had enough speed to win a bumper on his rules debut for Paul Nicholls. He steps up in trip now and takes on hurdles for the first time and should have enough to cope with Pickamix who was found wanting at Cheltenham last time. An early 2.12 in the orange looks more than fair.
3.40 Kempton With Princeton Royale a non-runner, this is a straight match between Josses Hill and Camping Ground. Josses Hill does function well on a flat track like Kempton but he is not the type of horse I would ever be keen to back at odds on. Camping Ground on the other hand is entitled to still be improving as a six year old. He was a winner over fences last season, his first in Britain after running in France, but was sent hurdling after a fall in Huntington. He achieved a high level of form over hurdles, winning a Grade 2 in Cheltenham by 11 lengths, but his connections have chosen to return to fences and could be rewarded. 2.42 on BETDAQ looks like a bet for a horse that could step forward from his summer break.
CARLISLE: MATCH OF THE DAY
2.50 Carlisle Another match in Carlisle where Grand National faller Onenightinvienna takes on Seldom Inn. At the weights Onenightinvienna has a very slight advantage but the race fitness of Seldom Inn might just give him the edge. He was a big distance winner of a novice chase at Kelso last month and will be ready to run for his life this afternoon. Connections of Onenightofvienna probably will have their eyes on much bigger targets this year and are likely to be using this as a stepping stone. With this in mind, the 2.06 available on Seldom Inn to back on BETDAQ looks like the play.
FAIRYHOUSE: ELLIOTT BANDWAGON MOVES ON
12.50 Fairyhouse Woodford Island is turned out again quickly after taking a fall at Down Royal on Friday and it remains to be seen if it will have any impact on his performance here. It is actually his stablemate Crest that is of interest though. Still very lightly raced, he was running a nice race on his chasing debut last time when pecking badly two out and can be considered slightly better value than the result might suggest. With question marks over the top two in the market, he could prove value at 5.9 on BETDAQ.
2.25 Fairyhouse Gordon Elliott has taken full advantage of his new recruits from Gigginstown House Stud in recent times and he can get another winner here with Sutton Manor, another recent arrival from the Willie Mullins yard. He has been second in both his point-to-point and bumper but looks to have enough ability to account for the consistent but limited Billy De Kid and the impeccably bred but frustrating The West’s Awake. An early 2.64 in the BETDAQ orange looks attractive.
