ANOTHER DAQMAN NAP AND A WINNER A DAY FOR A WEEK: Daqman landed a third winning nap of the weekend yesterday with Courtland at Newton Abbot, taking his two-day profits to 85 points and extending his winner-a-day sequence to seven successive days.

KING GEORGE COUNTDOWN STARTS TOMORROW: Daqman’s countdown to Saturday’s King George begins tomorrow and he also promises another seam of winners (or losers like his Royal Ascot revelations) from an investigation into Goodwood next week.
WHY CLARETS WAS A VINTAGE LAY
⚠️ HEADS UP Some 21 placed horses from the 17 worst races at the top of the Royal Ascot ‘ losers list’ in Daqman (June 22) have now been beaten in their subsequent start.
Add seven more to the losers listed last Tuesday: Hello You, Naval Crown, Nicest, Samoot, She Do, Stowell, Vintage Clarets, who was probably the lay of the bunch at 3-1 in a field of 22 (sixth) for Saturday’s Super Sprint.
Lays Logic, Daqman’s declared lays (when the odds are likely to be 3-1 or less) are currently 10-14 (71%) but could clearly be very much more, once you get a seam like the
Ascot losers that you can work on a regular basis.

ROCK LOOKS SOLID BET
⭕ 6.35 Windsor Rock Melody looks worth another chance on just her third racecourse start.
She won impressively on debut at Redcar and was then outclassed but not disgraced in Listed company at Newmarket where she finished 10th but only beaten five and a half lengths.
Her trainer Kevin Philippart De Foy has won with two of his last five runners and Rock Melody can improve on those stats.
She is certainly preferred to chief BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE VALUE rival Fast Response whose narrow course and distance win two weeks ago came on soft ground and she may struggle to defy the penalty in what looks a warmer race.
The danger to both may of course emerge from a debutant. The early money has been for Torious but the Simon Dow yard don’t have a particularly strong strike-rate in juvenile races.
AMELIA IS R NAP
⭕ 7.50 Beverley Amelia R would appear to have conditions in her favour – and notably has pole position in trap 1.
The mare usually runs her race and this looks her easiest task for a while.
She comes into this on the back of an eye-catching run at Ayr last week when eased down in the closing stages having endured a nightmare run in the closing stages and compensation awaits here providing she gets the rub of the green.
Most her rivals are out of form, although Cindy Looper showed a little bit more over course and distance last time. She was however beaten six lengths into second and this is a tougher contest.
ANOTHER FOR HER MAJESTY?
⭕ 8.40 Windsor Her Majesty The Queen enjoyed an across the card treble on Friday from her three declared runners at Newmarket and Newbury.
That purple patch can continue here at Windsor with Companionship who was unsuited by the soft ground when finishing last at Newbury in a Listed race but bounced back with a much more promising effort at Newmarket last month when third to Anghaam.
She gets stepped back to the 1m 2f trip here by trainer William Haggas and the filly should now have enough experience to see off the challenge from Betty Crean L A who steps into handicap company having won a Sandown maiden last time out.
