NOW IT’S FOUR NAPS UP IN FIVE DAYS FOR DAQMAN: Daqman landed his fourth nap out of six in five days yesterday with L’Autonomie at Auteuil. The winning naps are below, listed at SP (in all cases they were bigger offers on BETDAQ).

✔️ WON 2-5 L’AUTONOMIE (Auteuil, Sunday, supernap)
✔️ WON 5-2 SAN FABRIZIO (Lyon-Parilly, Friday, nap, 5.0 on BETDAQ)
✔️ WON 1-1 RAABIHAH (Longchamp, Thursday, supernap)
✔️ WON 11-10 SIMEEN (Saint-Cloud, Wednesday, supernap)

DAQMAN SUPERNAPS OUT IN UNKNOWN TERRITORY: Daqman races at Chantilly and on one of the Marseille tracks where he’s never tipped before in this column, but he thinks so much of his first ever bet there (at BETDAQ 2.75) that he’s given it supernap stakes. Headlines:

SKALLETTI’S DROP IN CLASS THE KEY

⚠️ LEADING FRENCH TRAINERS Jean-Claude Rouget 24, Christophe Escuder 22, Christophe Ferland 21, Fabrice Vermeulen 20, Frederic Rossi 19. At Chantilly, Pia Brandt 6, Francis-Henri Graffard 5.

⚠️ LEADING FRENCH JOCKEYS Pierre-Charles Boudot 51, Christophe Soumillon 40, Maxime Guyon 39, Anthony Crastus 27, Cristian Demuro 26. At Chantilly, Boudot 16, Soumillon 10, Guyon 9, Vincent Cheminaud 6.

11.01 Chantilly (1m, Group 3) Six of the nine runners are winners on the last day, with the highest scorer the grey Skalletti – seven wins in a row – dropping down from a Group-2 double in the autumn, in one of them turning over the odds-on Group-1 placed Line Of Duty.

His partner then, Pierre-Charles Boudot, is in the saddle today, absolutely flying since the resumption and already passed his 50 target. BETDAQ 3.25 Skalletti.

I don’t know much about Skalletti’s trainer, Jerome Reynier, except that he’s currently on a poor strike-rate (1-15) and has most of his success on his home track, Marseille. There’s a Marseille meeting today, where he runs six.

In a musical-jockeys scenario, the choices made by Boudot, Christophe Soumillon and Mickael Barzalona make up the front of the market.

Boudot deserts Silver Quartz, though they are 2-2 together, and despite the grey son of Frankel looking for back to back wins at Chantilly, after beating Impulsif in a photo-finish in March.

Barzalona now gets off Impulsif, choosing stablemate Nature’s Colors, who is on a hat-trick for him today after a Listed win in Deauville. And Soumillon is on Plumatic instead of Silver Quartz.

Petreville was a Listed winner on the last day, landing five out of six under Cristian Demuro when trained by Jean-Claude Rouget but now with Francis Graffard. Demuro stays loyal to the five-year-old.

CONDITIONS PERFECT FOR KARLSTAD

12.50 Chantilly (1m 7f handicap) Boudot is first time up on the consistent Moonwalk Step who has needed heavy ground but that suggests he will get this longer trip on the forecast good to soft.

Checkpoint Charlie is also consistent but 13 places for just 1-16 (on turf) suggests that Stephane Pasquier’s mount is a bridesmaid unlikely to catch the bouquet.

Get Shirty has been placed (3-4) over shorter and there’s nothing in his pedigree to warrant backing him at this longer trip.

The 6.0 BETDAQ offer Karlstad has won twice: both at this 1m 7f – both on a sounder surface than most – and Maxime Guyon rides. Top-class bet if he’d had an outing buct the Pia Brandt stable has been in form. Le Hoyo is an improver at the distance and may be the danger.

1.23 Chantilly (1m 7f handicap) Sudfaa won at this trip on the Deauville Polytrack early in the year but his jockey that day (Boudot) switches to Classic Pearl, a 5.5 BETDAQ bet.

Interesting because the mare likes a sounder surface and because it’s her first try at the trip. Finjaans Rose should be staying on.

PALUS VALUE PICK AT 10.0 ON BETDAQ

3.35 Marseille-Borely (1m) Rocquemont drops in grade after his third in a Listed at Cagnes but has to give 16lb to the improver Moonlightpainter (BETDAQ 2.75), who has won when fresh and is trained by the leading French handler, Jean-Claude Rouget.

5.05 Marseille-Borely (1m 2f) There’s half a length between Patzefredo and Palus Argenteus, ridden by Anthony Crastus, who is just behind the top trio of jockeys in the country.

That was over a mile on the Cagnes Polytrack earlier in the year but the extra two furlongs could swing this for Crastus, who rides in eight races here today. Far too big at 10.0 in the BETDAQ Sportsbook.

6.35 Marseille-Borely (1m 2.5f handicap) Crastus also partners River Of Silver (at 4.3 on BETDAQ), who hated the winter mud, but showed up well on better ground on the last day for Christophe Escuder, second in the French-trainers table.

Escuder has 10 runners here in Marseille today but just the one at Chantilly, which takes me full circle to 6.0 BETDAQ offer Mazeltof (1.56). Good luck!
