DAQMAN’S TEAM OF TON-UP NATIONAL OUTSIDERS: Daqman today starts his Grand National countdown with a daily focus on outsiders that could continue the run of big-race shock results after Champion Hurdle and Gold Cup winners you’d hardly heard of. He finds an 82.0 offer on BETDAQ to add to his earlier bet on Anabale Fly at 17.0. All are to win 100.
WINNER-A-DAY SEQUENCE ENDS ON 37 IN 18 DAYS: Daqman’s sequence of at least one winner a day ended yesterday after 37 returns in 18 days, including 13 at Cheltenham, just three days short of three weeks with something to shout about.

LIKE A ROLLING STONE..
He’s a duke of hazard because stamina not known. But Sandymount Duke is also described in the form book as ‘a superb jumper’. He’s at the right end of the handicap off 10st 6lb (as they stand).
He’s very likely to get in, as number 39 of the 100 acceptors (40 allowed to run), and he’s in good hands. Trainer: Jessica Harrington. Jockey on the last day: Robbie Power, winner of the 2007 Grand National on Silver Birch.
His wins in four chases and four hurdles have all come on good ground, and so as far as we know he won’t want rain. Soft-heavy going at Liverpool might rule him out of this first attempt beyond 3m 2f.
Sandymount Duke is owned by Rolling Stone Ronnie Wood. The Hernando gelding has had four consecutive wins in 2015; back-to-back successes in 2016; three in a row in 2017; placed at the Galway Festival in 2018.

PHIL YOUR BOOTS
3.45 Exeter Considering it’s the week after the week before it’s not a bad start to the week with four jumps card. Philip Hobbs has his string in good form with 8 winners from his last 35 runners including, of course, Defi Du Seuil winner of the JLT.
Hobbs should strike at Exeter this afternoon too with Dostal Phil in this second division of the maiden hurdle. He was reappearing after a break when just touched off a short head at Newbury behind Laughing Luis – a very creditable effort in handicap company and he should find this much easier.
Colin Tizzard had a welcome winner at Kempton on Saturday but his overall form remains very concerning. That was his first winner from 42 runners over the last two weeks and the closest the stable came to a winner at Cheltenham was Lostintranslation’s second in the JLT.
He runs Fly To Mars here who was a course and distance fourth last time out which was fair enough effort as this race doesn’t look much tougher but the stable form dampens enthusiasm.
A bigger danger may come from the Venetia Williams trained The Crooner who will surely come on plenty for his UK debut at Warwick when third.
4.15 Exeter Top weight Grey Atlantic Way can hopefully finally see the door open for him.
The Irish raider has been putting in some good shifts, including when third in a Wincanton handicap last time out. He’s up 2lb for that effort but is entitled to improve as that was his first start since October and this doesn’t look the toughest of races with many of his rivals out of form. Five of his 11 opponents were pulled up last time out !
BETDAQ favourite at the time of writing Manofthemoment is still unexposed having run in better company – but he hasn’t done enough to convince me yet and hung left badly in his last race.
4.35 Southwell Yeavering Belle made all to win at Warwick on debut but penalties are notoriously hard to defy in bumpers.
Eyes Right is a big class dropper having run well at Newbury and Ascot and should find this company much more to her liking.
