DAQMAN HIT! 11.0 WINNER FASTORSLOW: Daqman slammed Gold Cup form as overtaken by improvers. Then he put his money where his mouth is yesterday, declaring 11.0 on BETDAQ Fastorslow a gift for punters to beat Galopin des Champs in the John Durkan. Fastorslow won. Daqman won. BETDAQ backers won. So no change there, then.

Two Sunday winners: 67 points profit
✔️ WON 9-1 FASTORSLOW (BETDAQ 11.0)
✔️ WON 2-1 JODY TED (BETDAQ 4.7)

Five Saturday winners: 45.80 profit

✔️ WON 16-5 KAMSINSAS
✔️ WON 4-1 FARNOGE
✔️ WON 5-2 PIC D’ORHY
✔️ WON 4-1 BLUEKING D’OROUX
✔️ WON 11-4 SLATE LANE

📈 VALUE CHALLENGE: Daqman 6, Pricewise 1. Daqman leads by 206.50pts

TODAY: Daqman spots big offers at 21.0 and 12.5 but it’s more likely a day for the front of the market with small fields at Kempton and Ludlow.

BIG-VALUE BETDAQ WINS AGAIN

Form worked out to within a couple of yards yesterday. Fastorslow, who had beaten Galopin des Champs two and a quarter lengths in the Punchestown Gold Cup in April, beat him again at Punchestown yesterday by one and threequarters.

Yet, after the first result when Fastorslow won at 20-1 and Galopin des Champs was second at 4-11, yesterday’s 9-1 SP Fastorslow and 1-2 Galopin des Champs was upside down. Plain crackers.

You didn’t have to look far for value: the winner was 11.0 and 11.5 on BETDAQ during the morning.

So open your BETDAQ early and keep it up as the winners flow, proof this column this weekend.

There will be more value to come among the top-rank chasers. You see, what happens after a Fastorslow victory like yesterday’s is that the Press pundits who ignored him reject him again!

So today the headlines are about Galopin Des Champs; ‘he’ll be back’; he had ‘no sparkle’. My article last week on how the Gold Cup ‘does for’ a horse pre-empted the facts that were staring them in the face.

The whole weekend was a shocking time for such conservatives, who on Saturday had voted for Shishkin (refused to race at 8-13) and Bravemansgame (2nd 8-11) before talking up not-so-Galopin Des Champs yesterday (3rd 1-2).

Vote for improvers. Vote for change. And get value for money on Betdaq Betting Exchange.

KATEIRA TO MAKE HER MARK

⭕ 2.35 Kempton Some of Dan Skelton’s have needed a run and his Cheltenham Mares’ Hurdle hope, Kateira, didn’t have trip or ground when she reappeared at Wetherby, third over two miles on the soft.

The winner that day, You Wear It Well, had won the Dawn Run Mares Novices’ at the festival in March but was 12 lengths behind Kateira when Irish Point and Kateira were one-two in the Mersey Novices (2m 4f) at Aintree on good to soft.

Kateira goes up to three miles today. That’s a test of her Kayf Tara blood, and as half-sister to 3m-plus hat-trick winner over fences, El Presidente.

Olly Murphy’s Space Voyage is another Kayf Tara (out of a mare by Derby winner, Slip Anchor), also related to winners at this trip and, at six – same age as Kateira – should have more scope than Sabrina, who beat nothing well at Ayr in April.

Kateira is the nap but, in a small field, there could be a surprise, which I shall cater for with 12.5 Space Voyage.

A REPEAT ROUND FOR DESQUE

⭕ 2.50 Ludlow Venetia Williams’ Royal Pagaille (5-1) took advantage at Haydock on Saturday, as conservative punters yet again blew their wallet on Bravemansgame (8-11 favourite).

Venetia runs Desque De L’Isle, who could get a repeat round, with the presence of Not Available taking up the 12st spot and spreading the weights.

Desque De L’Isle is 2-3 at Ludlow and won this race last year in similar circumstances with 10st 8lb when a 12st top-weight pulled up three out, and he was able to gallop clear. BETDAQ 3.1 taken.

KING HIGH ON KEMPTON CARD

⭕ 3.05 Kempton Team Skelton run two in that hurdle at 2.35 and they also have two in this small-field chase, one youngster, one veteran.

The 10-year-old Amoola Gold has mainly kept good company since winning (disqualified) a Listed chase at Ascot two years ago.

It was his first run back that year off 146. Despite two wins out of three over hurdles in the Spring, he comes here on 124, including Fergus Gillard’s 3lb claim, and is the ‘wrong’ price at offers of 21.0 on BETDAQ this morning.

Stablemate Our Jet is festooned with aids (tongue-tie after two wind ops plus first-time cheekpieces), after proving a bit of a short-runner, but he did get home at Leicester (2m 4f good) last Christmas.

Thelasthighking (BETDAQ 2.37) has gone up in the weights for being beaten here in October, jumping right at the later fences. But the word is that Nigel Twiston-Davies has sorted him out and, of course, this track is right-handed.

Gloire D’Athon and Mullinaree are hooded and tongue-tied, useful on their day but typical small-field types.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
