WON 10-3 EQUALITY (bull’s-eye bet)

Saturday: profit on the day 35.25 points
WON 7-1 SHARJAH (Scottish Champion Novice)

HE NAMES HIS TARGETS IN ADVANCE: Today Daqman sets out his target races for more value tipping with previews. He’s on the oche for 12 events at Epsom, Sandown, Punchestown and Newmarket.

DAQMAN’S BIG-RACE VALUE

BIG-ODDS FEVER- 1 The final few days in the battle for the Jumps trainers title; Classic trials and handicaps on the Flat. Altogether, a mix this week and beyond that begs for some value punts.

Here are just the seven of the best Daqman bets at SP since the start of the Flat in March, after the Cheltenham festival.

WON 18-1 MACDERMOTT (Scottish Grand National)
WON 7-1 SHARJAH (Scottish Champion Novice)
WON 7-1 I AM MAXIMUS (Aintree Grand National)
WON 11-1 EMOTIVO
WON 6-1 CALIFORNIA SPANGLE (Al Quoz Sprint, Meydan)
WON 17-2 STALLONE
WON 6-1 KNEBWORTH

BIG-ODDS FEVER- 2 Here’s the big-race feed for punters, starting tomorrow and through to the Guineas, featuring the final days of the Jumps and the start of the Classics.

Daqman will preview at least these 12 in the way of stats, facts, information and BETDAQ betting value that has brought him those big odds winners and more.

⭕ EPSOM Tuesday: 2.45 Blue Riband Trial, 3.20 City and Suburban Handicap, 3.55 Great Metropolitan Handicap.
⭕ SANDOWN Friday 1.50 Esher Cup, 3.00 Sandown Mile, 3.35 Sandown Classic Trial
⭕ SANDOWN Saturday 3.00 Celebration Chase, 3.35 Sandown Gold Cup.
⭕ PUNCHESTOWN, May 1-3 Punchestown Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle.
⭕ NEWMARKET May 4-5 2,000 and 1,000 Guineas

DAQMAN’S DREAMING OF ANOTHER NAP

⭕ 3.55 Pontefract today The card (almost) survived the morning inspection. Racing does go ahead but the 2m 5f handicap has been scrapped due to some areas of standing water on the track. A great shame as Daqman loves the long distance handicaps at Pontefract – given it’s often quite easy to rule runners out on stamina grounds alone.

Plenty of stamina will still be required in the races that do go-ahead given the prevailing conditions. Do I Dream looks the standout bet on the card.

Trainer Ben Haslam is running at an impressive 50% strike-rate (4 winners from his his last eight runners) and that includes a success for the mare Do I Dream who was a heavy ground winner at Ripon last week.

She escapes a penalty for that, given it came in an apprentice race and should be able to make it a third course and distance win today.

Main danger on the Betdaq Betting Exchange market is Highfield Viking who should also relish the ground given he was a heavy ground winner at Thirsk last time out. The first time out blinkers seemed to be a positive that day but he has an extra 4lb to carry.

KATE NOT FOR PASSING

⭕ 4.15 Ffos Las I thought there was a little bit of value here with Passing On Kate who looks a very sensible alternative to the likely warm favourite Bullets Hill.

Passing Kate holds her form (123132) well and put in another solid effort when third at Ludlow last time out in what might have been a better race than this.

She was runner-up on her only previous visit to Ffos Las and can see off Bullets Hill who races under a penalty for his smooth Exeter win just three days ago when he made all.

The quick turnaround, different ground and switch back to a less experienced jockey would all count against backing him at a restricted price to follow up.

A COCK AND BULL STORY

⭕ 6.50 Windsor It’s a very modest card at Windsor tonight with nothing above class 4 level.

Cock And Bull stands out like a beacon in this 1m 3f handicap mainly because his rivals all look so badly out of form.

In contrast, Cock And Bull comes into this on the back of two good efforts on the all-weather – winning at Kempton last time out in a race where the front two pulled well clear.

DAQMAN’S BETS

3.55 Pontefract (win 10, nap)
BET 6.6pts win DO I DREAM

4.15 Ffos Las (win 10)
BET 2.0pts win PASSING KATE

6.50 Windsor (win 10)
BET 6.8pts win COCK AND BULL

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
