ALL FOUR COURSES: DAQMAN has a bet at all four venues on Monday including a NAP in the featured Spindrifter Stakes at Pontefract which looks very competitive despite just four runners heading to post.

ZAMAN A GOOD SPIN AT PONTEFRACT
2.30 Pontefract (Spindrifter Stakes) Just four runners contest the featured Spindrifter Stakes at Pontefract this afternoon but it’s still a good betting heat and any one of three could yet start favourite.
All four are previous winners and the pace in the race is likely to come from the Mark Johnston trained Izzy Bizu who bids for a hat-trick after comfortable wins at Carlisle and Leicester and Johnston has landed two of the last three Spindrifters.
Zap made a winning debut at York before running a creditable third in the Woodcote Stakes at Epsom.
Unfortunately is stepping up in trip but was only beaten a head in Listed company in France last time out – he had previously won well at Hamilton and should see out the extra furlong here but unlike his rivals is unproven.
Preference goes to the Charlie Appleby trained Zaman who made a winning debut over this trip at York and then was only beaten six and half lengths into 13th in the Coventry Stakes at Royal Ascot. Although down the field, it still looks the strongest form on offer in a fascinating contest.
3.15 Wolverhampton I thought the favourite Silver Link looked opposable here. She’s been off the track for 259 days and has no experience of the all-weather AND takes a big step up in trip. She may of course have the class to win but just how many ifs and buts do you want on a horse that is trading at around 2.22 on BETDAQ?
Preference is for Zack Mayo who ticks all the boxes in terms of all-weather experience, distance and good recent form. He was only beaten a neck at Lingfield last time out on the turf having previously finished third at Chelmsford.
7.45 Hamilton This class three handicap is the best race on Hamilton’s card where there is still plenty of give in the ground.
That should suit Al Destoor who absolutely bolted up on soft ground at Chester – beating Lorelina by five lengths. However, the handicaper has had his say with a nine pound rise which looks harsh as the opposition looked weak.
At the opposite end of the weights Mister Belvedere also likes give and the Michael Dods lightly raced runner looks certain to be suited by this step-up in trip.
8.00 Windsor Market leaders dominate this contest but Asaas looks vulnerable.
He’s four without a win and beginning to look exposed.
I prefer the Clive Cox trained Unified who ran well at Newbury on only her second start and has more potential than Asaas.
