HELP YOURSELF AT BETDAQ 12.0

⭕ 2.53 Ascot Harry Cobden could ride his first feature-race winner for J P McManus since the news of his appointment for the top owner’s team next season was made known. He’s on Jonbon of course in the Clarence House.

But this earlier hurdle is his first-time ride on Thanksforthehelp, the Martaline grey Daqman marked down as a 🔥Hot Spot🔥 for a surprise strike.

The David Pipe raider won the Punchestown Opportunity Series Final and ran well at Newbury and Windsor. Blinkered first time this afternoon, and a tasty 12.0 on BETDAQ

⭕ 3.30 Ascot (Clarence House Stakes) Jonbon has never been out of the first two in 25 starts, including 19 over regulation fences.

But Harry Cobden has to avenge the 10-year-old’s two defeats last year by Il Etait Temps, both of them at Sandown.

Jonbon has been a superstar but it’s fair to say that McManus has had his finest hours clouded by disappointment in the last nine months of four frustrating seconds and just the one win at Aintree in April.

Il Etait Temps, who beat Jonbon nine lengths in the Tingle Creek, is Daqman’s second 🔥Hot Spot🔥 bet today, this time with maximum supernap stakes.

TRIAL SHOWS UP TRUE COLORS

⭕ 1.15 Lingfield (Winter Oaks Fillies’ Handicap) This is not a 2026 Classic but can be seen as a continuation of last season’s three-year-olds’ form.

Every winner so far has been officially aged four, in today’s case just 17 days after their birthday.

It suggests only three runners will fight this out, getting between 13lb and 24lb from the smartest filly – Morrophone – among the older ones in the field.

Charles Hills has been out of form but Kimeko Glory has lived up to her three 1m 2f wins of last year by recently running second over 1m 4f, since switching to Hills from Brian Twomey.

Marco Botti’s True Colors was fourth in the December Trial for this race, a length and a half behind today’s favourite, Morrophone, getting 19lb. Both could have done with a stronger gallop, and True Colors is 2lb better off. The last two Trial winners have both won today’s showdown.

Odd one out among the four-year-olds is Wujjood, trainer William Haggas without a winner for almost three weeks.

That goes back 10 straight losers to when Tom Marquand was last successful for him and he returned yesterday in time for this.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 11.5 True Colors, 31 Kimeko Glory

NOW ‘WHO’ WINS IT FOR J.P.

⭕ 2.00 Haydock (Peter Marsh Chase) Back-to-back winner in 2021-22, Royale Pagaille, could now notch up a third, four years on.

He pulled up behind Mr Vango last year and did the same in the Grand National but he’s an old-timer who won’t lie down and ran second to Grey Dawning in a Grade-1 here in November.

Ultima winner Myretown, hugely impressive that day, is up 15lb and Konfusion is 19lb higher after his Rehearsal Chase and Rowland Meyrick double.

There has been money for Imperial Saint, whose best form is on the Mildmay course at Aintree, where he beat Richmond Lake six lengths before that one was third in this Peter Marsh to Mr Vango.

There has been money for Imperial Saint, whose best form is on the Mildmay course at Aintree, where he beat Richmond Lake six lengths before that one was third in this Peter Marsh to Mr Vango. In fact, the balance is to Richmond Lake, 8lb lower now.

But I shall side with Myretown, with the alternative Johnnywho, another J P McManus, fifth in both the Irish Grand National and the Grand Sefton over the Aintree National fences, and runner-up in the Kim Muir.

Could it be that Jonjo O’Neill Jnr on Johnnywho and Harry Cobden on Thanksforthehelp are the McManus money horses with Jonbon again stuck with his seconditis.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
