DAQMAN LANDS A HAT-TRICK: Daqman hopes to do well on the northern tracks of Chester and Beverley today after a Friday hat-trick at Carlisle and Thirsk.

WON 9-4 HAVANA ROSE
WON 1-5 THYER (supernap)
WON 15-8 CINDERELLA’S DREAM

WINNERS ALL THE WAY: Daqman is now on 73 winning naps, 45-22 clear of Pricewise in the value challenge, and with 21 hits from his Fortune Cookies.

27.0 HODLER THREAT TO BERTIE

⭕ 1.35 Chester (7.5f class-2 handicap) Lord Bertie started life running third in a maiden to future Guineas winner, Chaldean, then landed back-to-back wins A YEAR apart, gelded in between!

He made all at Thirsk a month ago – scoring unchallenged by 12 lengths – and, though this is two grades higher, he will be sprung from the one stall by Danny Tudhope for another rail rattler, around the Roodeye.

Boardman was held up from gate 8 when he won here in May, after running 5th from gate 4 in a class-2 over the CD, won by Revich. Both are 3lb higher today.

Positive Impact, a Shamardal with potential for the Crisfords, and Master Zoffany (dual winner at Chester in 2021) are lightly raced this season.

Positive Impact was in receipt of a stone when, as a three-year-old, he was pipped half a length by Percys Lad in this very race a year ago. But Percys Lad was behind Revich then Boardman in the two May meetings here at Chester.

The 27.0 BETDAQ offer Hodler loves a turning track, with wins at Epsom, Goodwood, Sandown and here at Chester, so going left or right is no matter.

Fools Rush In won this two years back when a three-year-old, which takes us back to the two second-season animals running today, Lord Bertie and Spioradalta, a CD winner set only 8st 2lb but undeserving of more.

MORRIS DANCE AT BEVERLEY

⭕ 2.05 Beverley (Silver Cup) Sir Mark Prescott is spending the petrol money! After Thirsk and Salisbury yesterday, he has Saturday runners at Beverley, Chelmsford, Chester and Sandown so significant that Luke Morris is here for the ride on Omniscient.

Omniscient (BETDAQ 6.1) has kept good company but has not won higher than class 4. Perfect Play is a winner here at that level, too, while Almeric has won twice in class 3.

Stowell, who was with Team Gosden, then George Boughey, has now been gelded and gone to Alan King to be trained for the Jumps.

12.5 ANGEL IS A GROUP FILLY

⭕ 2.25 Sandown (Atalanta Stakes) Eight winners out of nine have been drawn 1, 3 and 4 but the Sandringham Handicap winner at Royal Ascot, Coppice, who then aimed too high in a Group 1 on the July Course, probably has the class to win from stall 6 (Integral did it in 2013).

Stablemate Queen For You, lightly raced but aimed high, is back to a mile in cheekpieces first time.

Sean Levey and Oisin Orr have major steering jobs to do with Listed winners Heredia (holds Purplepay on Haydock form) and Midnight Mile drawn 10 and 9.

Potopova won this race last year and Sir Michael Stoute finally got Passenger a winner at Windsor last Saturday but there must still be a question-mark over the stable, missing strike with three favourites failing to reach the first two and the runners around Passenger finishing 222.

Nibras Angel, out of the one stall, is entered at Group-1 level and could surprise, with the pace likely from Roman Mist out of gate 2.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 6.5 Coppice, 8.1 Queen For You, 12.5 Nibras Angel

UNDER ORDERS FOR THE LEGER

⭕ 2.40 Beverley (Beverley Bullet) With Judicial an absentee, it’s between Tis Marvellous (011 at Beverley) and Silky Wilkie, who scored on his only CD start but is high in the handicap, as are Apollo One and Kerdos

Tis Marvellous has dropped 11lb since his last Beverley success and is going for a hat–trick in this race, so can give Luke Morris his winning day at 11.5 on BETDAQ this morning, whatever has happened to Omniscient in the Silver Cup.

⭕ 3.20 Chester Last of 14 in the Epsom Derby, Military Order, winner of the Lingfield trial, has had a long break and returns on his favoured ground. He is the one with stamina here, as he preps for the St Leger.

Lone Eagle was second to ‘hat-trick Hamish’ in the Ormonde at Chester with cut in the ground before mistakenly tried over long trips as a Cup horse.

Divine Jewel has won only once – on AW – and Shanroe beat the chaser Mt Leinster for a first Flat win since October 2020.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
