BOBBY SO BRAVE DAQMAN WINS FOUR DAYS FROM FIVE: Good Boy! A horse called Bobby took the law into his own hands at Wetherby yesterday and led most of the way with a devastating charge none could match. It meant that Daqman has finished in profit on four days out of five this week, with a winner a day including back-to-back naps:

WON 5-2 GOOD BOY BOBBY (Friday profit)
WON 4-6 GREAT HUNTER (nap and Wednesday profit)
WON 6-4 MANILA SCOUSE (nap and Tuesday profit)
WON 100-30 MUJTABA (Monday profit)

DAQMAN’S ON THE INTERNATIONAL SCENE NEXT WEEK: Just two Saturdays left in the Flat season! There’s international racing at Flemington on Tuesday (Melbourne Cup) and Del Mar (Breeders Cup) next weekend before the Saturday finale at Doncaster. Follow Daqman with these bets:

DAQMAN 56, PRICEWISE 38
BULL’S-EYE NAPS 1-4 (25%)
SUPERNAPS 19-29 (65%)
LAYS LOGIC 14-20 (70%)
FORTUNE COOKIES 15-39 (39%)

ASCOT IS HIS GLORY COURSE

FINAL-FLING DAQ MULTIPLES: Miranda (1.55 Wetherby), Kawida (2.58 Newmarket), Cyrname (3.05 Wetherby) and Envoi Allen (3.25 Down Royal) – in three 1pt trebles and an acca – provide final-fling bets from Fortune Cookies past and present. A new list of horses to follow will launch the Jumps season proper after the Breeders Cup. Watch this space!

⭕ 2.10 Ascot They were backing Megan last night for this 2m Listed handicap hurdle but you have to take a short price about one you must forgive for failing to complete twice this year after long breaks.

Wild Max presents punters with the same conundrum; at least he is more mature at six. Four-year-olds can win this but ages five and six have shared the prize for the last nine years.

Boothill is one to note for a future in chasing and Ajero is a fast little hurdler who has been haring round tracks like Market Rasen and Huntingdon.

But Soaring Glory has won or been placed at Ascot three times and the stable is in form.

BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE 5.7 Soaring Glory

OSCAR FOR AN IRISH RAIDER

⭕ 2.30 Wetherby (West Yorkshire Hurdle) Old-timers Paisley Park and Paul Nicholls’ Master Tommytucker try to pinch this £30,000 Grade 2. Nicholls has done it before with Tidal Bay (back to back when aged 11 and 12).

Paisley Park will try for a Cleeve Hurdle hat-trick at Cheltenham in January and Master Tommytucker shortly returns to chasing for a third November win.

So I give Irish raider Run For Oscar, related to extreme stamina, his own treble chance today after a double in the visor which has seen his rating hiked 16lb.

BETDAQ value 6.4 Run For Oscar

MINELLA BACK AS CHAMPION

⭕ 2.50 Down Royal (Ladbrokes Champion Chase) See Daqman ratings and form preview Thursday.

King George winner Frodon scored first time out last October, six days before Gold Cup winner Minella Indo also won on his reappearance and, in fact, landed back-to-back strikes over a trip of around 3m.

The ground is in Minella Indo’s favour and he’s rated between 8lb and 26lb clear of anything else in the race.

Galvin’s best form is on a sound surface and he won’t run if the going is deep, which would be a pity as he’s the only one to have had a recent run.

If he does go, I would expect Davy Russell riding a 3m 6f Cheltenham winner to go on and test them for fitness.

Two top stayers against Frodon on soft ground seems too much for him to handle.

BETDAQ value Minella Indo napped at evens this morning (2.1)

CYRNAME FACING BLUE DAY

⭕ 3.05 Wetherby (Charlie Hall Chase) See Daqman ratings and form preview Friday.

Cyrname was rated 15lb clear of his field when winning this last year, with most of his opponents his age or older.

This time around he has runners four and five years younger and only 6lb (Top Ville Ben) and 5lb (Clondaw Castle) off him, with two rivals which I marked ‘progressive’ (Mighty Thunder) and ‘very progressive’ (Kittys Light) in my preview.

A further question mark is that Cyrname failed to complete the last twice and has wind surgery being tested in this race today. He scored only once in 2019-20 and again just the once in 2020-21.

If the ground remains good to soft, Kittys Light could come on for his reappearance run; if soft, the stayer Mighty Thunder may win a ploughing match!

But the one who is the right age and has had this race as his target off a successful novice-chase career is Shan Blue who is unbeaten at Wetherby (2-2).

BETDAQ value 3.9 Shan Blue

⭕ 3.20 Ascot (London Gold Cup Handicap Chase) Vinndication, who won the race for Kim Bailey two years ago, was second to Cyrname in the Charlie Hall last season but was beaten a total of 76 lengths in subsequent starts, still standing.

Like Cyrname, he will need to have been ‘got up’ for a once-a-year strike today. Apart from the evergreen Regal Encore (last year’s winner), he is giving 16lb and more to the next five in the market.

Regal Encore’s trainer has Sojourn in off a handy mark, a winner first time back last November.

One More Fleurie is 33lb higher than when beginning a fine run of four in a row, still standing.

Johnbb was second in a Graded Chase at the Grand National meeting. Both can improve at the age of seven.

Mister Malarkey is one of only four CD winners in the race, and one of only three to have prepped for this.

He was sixth last year off today’s mark but hadn’t had a run. He came back in December to win the Ascot Silver Cup.

Jerrysback, the one for the money in the week, has Ascot form of 233 still standing, second at level weights to Vinndication (2m 5f) and third to Regal Encore in the Silver Cup the year before. He’s dropped 10lb since the Vinndication race.

Didero Vallis, beaten a neck at Kelso in March, would be boosted if the winner that day, Kittys Light, has already run well in the Charlie Hall earlier on.

Checkitout’s stable is in fine form and he has that ‘could be anything’ look about him. BETDAQ offers give you a chance to land a big fish at a price.

BETDAQ value 8.0 Jerrysback, 19.0 Mister Malarkey, 21.0 Checkitout

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
