TIPS-WARRIOR DAQMAN WINS AT 9-1 Daqman landed one of his win-50 bull’s-eye bets at Musselburgh yesterday when Fierce Warrior won like a good thing under a confident ride by James Bowen on Nicky Henderson’s hurdles handicapper.
WON 9-1 FIERCE WARRIOR
MORE BIG ODDS: Today Daqman finds BETDAQ offers well over the top at 14.0, 14.5, 19.0, and 50.0 for more bull’s-eye bets.
50.0 BET IN THE LOOP AT KELSO
⭕ 2.25 Kelso A tough-looking handicap but not easy to carry weight here, and I like Nordic Tiger at BETDAQ 10.0 this morning for Harry Derham, now down to the mark which capped his winning sequence last Spring under Alice Stevens. Likes this ground.
⭕ 3.00 Kelso Alice would be in wonderland if she could complete a double for the Derham stable, with front-runner Barrabool well placed to make a successful handicap debut.
Barrabool has exactly a stone to help her turn around a one-two with Tour Ovalie at Taunton last month.
But Surrey Belle, bred to win a Derby (Golden Horn out of a Raven’s Pass mare), has a touch of class. Easy winner the last twice over hurdles and three-time scorer on the Flat.
One at a price is Leloopa, off a promising trajectory to this race. The mare landed an autumn double virtually unchallenged and prepped for this at Ludlow a month back.
Betdaq Betting Exchange 4.5 Surrey Belle, 8.1 Barrabool, 50 Leloopa
CAT BHALOO BIG BETDAQ VALUE
⭕ 2.40 Newbury Those searching for J P McManus colours – particularly on a Jonjo O’Neill runner – must look elsewhere: Bob Bob Ricard’s have a similar look, as do Surrey Belle’s in the 3.00 Kelso (above).
Don’t be fooled! J P’s sole English-based runner today is Solar System (4.02 Bangor). He has five in his ownership at Navan.
Bob Bob Ricard was unlucky at Cheltenham in October when he got his good ground but was badly hampered two out.
As a result, he finished behind Riskintheground but, unlike that one, has scored since, albeit in a small field.
Saint Segal is expected to take them along; he was not for catching when a CD winner by 11 lengths in December and has been running well from a 10lb higher mark.
Bhaloo jumps like a cat, drops down into a handicap, with the ground and trip similar to his strikes at Ascot and Kempton last year. Like Henderson’s winner for me yesterday, he is ‘a price!’
BETDAQ value 8.8 Bob Bob Ricard, 19 Bhaloo
ELEMENTARY STUDY IN SCARLET
⭕ 3.15 Newbury Only one favourite has won this mares’ novices in the decade, and outsiders at 10-1 SP, 14-1 (twice) and 25-1 have popped up, so difficult to take the race seriously for a bet.
But it’s worth watching, because a subsequent Mares Hurdle winner and a Becher Chase star have emerged from it recently.
Dr Richard Newland has been in better form lately and Scarlet O’Tara (Ascot win among three out of four) could return to form, back on better ground. Luke Scott handles her well. BETDAQ 14.0 taken.
⭕ 3.50 Newbury Chris Gordon plays this novice hurdle – two wins in four years – and books Harry Cobden for the giant Judgementofsolomon, who gets between 10lb and 16lb from all bar one in this field.
Though regarded as ‘a character’, he was a good winner for Sir Mark Prescott at Pontefract, a tough track for stayers, on the Flat. BETDAQ 14.5

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
