5-2 NAP FOR FOUR OUT OF SIX: Daqman’s tips finished 332 in the big races yesterday, including third in the Tommy Whittle and a head defeat in the Long Walk Hurdle when bull’s-eye-bet Hiddenvalley Lake (2nd 7-1 from BETDAQ 10.0) hit the wire. Then, in the Ascot Silver Cup, Victtorino landed a 20-point nap, his fourth winning best bet in six days:
★ WON 6-5 LADY BALKO (Monday nap)
★ WON 11-10 VIOLENTI (Tuesday nap)
★ WON 4-6 RAJEKO (Wednesday nap)
★ WON 5-2 VICTTORINO (Saturday nap)
QUIET SUNDAY: It’s a quiet pre-Christmas Sunday with just two cards from Fakenham and Lingfield. Daqman has bets at both courses.
ZHANG LOOKS WEI TO GO
⭕ 2.43 Fakenham Fergal O’Brien might not have a voice this morning judged by the way he was cheering home Crambo to win back to back Long Walk Hurdles at Ascot yesterday but hopefully he can still raise a cheer for Zhang Wei here.
The six-year-old goes well for trainer’s daughter and seven pound claimer Fern O’Brien and the pair were 12 length winners at Newton Abbot in July.
He’s 12lb higher in the weights now but is continuing to run well for Fern and a reproduction of the latest effort at Taunton when third should be good enough to land this.
The opposition looks modest with the Betdaq Betting Exchange market pointing towards Bigz Belief as the biggest danger. This one is on a losing run of 14 since popping up at 14/1 at Southwell last year and his front running style could be suited to Fakenham on his first course visit.
There isn’t much to choose between him and Zhang Fei on the Taunton form last month (4th and 3rd respectively) but Zhang Wei just looks more reliable and has a trainer in better form.
DON’T BE BASHFUL
⭕ 3.13 Fakenham Another confirmed front runner with a good shout is Lunar Contact who bids for four in a row after two chase and one hurdles win with both his chase wins coming over thee miles here.
He clearly loves the course but is up 12lb AND two grades from his latest course success which really does temper enthusiasm.
At the prices, I think Bashers Reflection looks the bet in the race. He is going the other way and dropping in class having generally been campaigned at a higher level including class 2 events at Sandown and Cheltenham earlier this year.
His recent Chepstow third reads well enough in the context of this race and he is also a previous winner at this idiosyncratic track (over hurdles) and makes plenty of appeal under the experienced Lilly Pinchin.
SWATCH YOUR BETS
⭕ 3.30 Lingfield All nine races are restricted rider events at Lingfield today and the card makes very little betting appeal.
I’ll sit it out until the finale when Swatch can again hold off the eminently beatable Book Of Life who is proving expensive to follow but is still heading up the weights.
The pair were split by half a length when first and second at Wolverhampton last time out but it would come as no surprise to see that form confirmed – even with a 2lb swing as Swatch seemingly had a lot more in hand than the official margin might indicate.
Book Of Life is on a run of 39500-0000774322 since joining from his native France where he was winner. Whether today marks the second chapter of his winning race record is questionable.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….
Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
