THE ONE CONSTANT IS BETDAQ VALUE: Tipping at Goodwood, where the last three races were abandoned yesterday, was an inexact science with adaptability to the ground often pure guesswork but – as some of Daqman’s bets in the final two days reveal – BETDAQ value was a constant.

Yesterday
2ND 17-2 CAPOTE’S DREAM from BETDAQ 11.0
3RD 12-1 BIELSA from BETDAQ 18.5
WON 4-1 SWEET MEMORIES
WON 9-4 SWEET WILLIAM

Thursday
3RD 15-2 TOCA MADERA from BETDAQ 16.0
3RD 12-1 ALSAKIB from BETDAQ 15.5

DAQMAN 19, PRICEWISE 0: Daqman has beaten Pricewise every season since 2013 (that’s 19-0) with 1,056 winners to 491, selections restricted to free-to-air England-TV races selected by Pricewise.

With the current score 41-19 in the 2023 Flat season, Pricewise – swerving Haydock today – has suddenly deviated after 10 years and now takes in other meetings in a desperate hunt for winners. Daqman will continue to log their match on the original basis until the end of the season.

⚠️ Carlisle abandoned; Haydock and Chester soft/heavy

LAST YEAR’S STAR A STONE WELL IN?

FROM the heavy ground of an unfinished Goodwood to the ‘very soft’ prediction for Deauville by the sea in Normandy this afternoon.

LEADING TRAINERS in France: Jean-Claude Rouget heads Andre Fabre 106-73 on winners.

JOCKEYS: Maxime Guyon 169, Mickael Barzalona 94, Cristian Demuro 89.

⭕ 12.58 Deauville Live In The Dream launches an English invasion force, with Epsom trainer Adam West trying to hold up the form of our sprinters.

Live In The Dream (Sean Kirrane) was beaten only half a length on the soft in the Palace House Stakes at Newmarket in early May, following up with another close placed effort in the Temple Stakes at Haydock. BETDAQ 2.44 this morning.

French Group-3 winner, Coeur de Pierre, beaten only half a length in the Abbaye (Group 1) on ‘very soft’, should be a huge threat.

In fact, Coeur de Pierre (‘heart of stone’) is Spanish trained and won this race last year as a 14-1 outsider.

He came to Royal Ascot for the Jubilee and was halfway down the field on firm, one of three consecutive failures this term at all three Group levels. Can he bounce back, given his conditions? BETDAQ 4.7.

TODAY’S TRACK HOLDS NO SECRET..

⭕ 1.33 Deauville (Prix Moonlight Cloud) Adam West produces another sprinter, Violets Star, for this 3yo Listed race named after Moonlight Cloud, who won the day’s featured Prix Maurice de Gheest three years running.

Violets Star is surely immature after just one run at a low level in Yorkshire, and Jane Chapple-Hyam’s Mill Stream, placed only in handicaps – five times out of six races on firm – looks guesswork.

There is no encouragement for soft ground from Mill Stream’s breeding but maybe the colt has just got big feet!

Vicious Harry has been placed seven times at Group and Listed level and has Christophe Soumillon in the saddle. Valimi drops back from failed attempts in Group races.

Moon Ray won a Group 3 as a two-year-old and was third to George Boughey’s Believing at Chantilly in the Spring.

Karl Burke, who completed a two-day double at Goodwood on Thursday, thinks it a good idea to bring back Secret Angel to Deauville, where she won a CD Listed last October on soft. Pourquoi pas? BETDAQ 8.0.

SANDRINE’S DAY IN DEAUVILLE MUD

⭕ 3.25 Deauville (Prix Maurice de Gheest) An extended sprint this time (6.5f) at Group-1 level, won last year by our Goodwood heroine of the week, Highfield Princess.

The 2022 Wokingham winner, Rohaan, was fourth – beaten only a length – and won the Sandy Lane on heavy ground two years ago.

Rated 8lb higher on 114 is Art Power, who has just returned to form at his favourite track, the Curragh, but is on a long losing streak elsewhere.

Spycatcher is on 109 after winning a Group 3 here at Deauville (soft) a month ago; this was the obvious next move but Karl Burke effects a change of jockey.

He brings in Maxime Guyon for Spycatcher, whose winning rider, Clifford Lee, switches to Commonwealth Cup Trial winner, Cold Case, whose ability on deep ground is not known.

A 13.5 BETDAQ offer, Sandrine (Andrew Balding, 106) won the Albany at Royal Ascot on heavy as a 2yo, and Brad The Brief (Hugo Palmer) has soft-ground form in France but is a six-year-old now, and success for that age group happens only once in a decade in this race.

MARQUAND YOUR HAYDOCK TROOPER

⭕ 4.45 Haydock After four winners at Glorious Goodwood, Tom Marquand is at Haydock with three mounts today, including Dark Trooper, a full brother to Fantasy Lady, winner on soft and beaten less than two lengths in the Irish 1,000 Guineas on heavy. BETDAQ value 5.1.

⭕ 6.45 Haydock Nathanael Greene, a Haydock 1m 6f winner here on soft, was a FORTUNE COOKIE for a while until revealing his quirky side.

A keen-goer, he was carefully handled to get the trip in the Northumberland Plate but, no worries, he ran on well to finish fourth, beaten two and a half lengths.

Marquand takes over with the biggest danger Cinnodin, a three-year-old improved 21lb since the Spring, showing consistent form figures of 112131.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 4.8 Nathanael Greene, 5.8 Cinnodin

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
