DAQMAN HAD THE WINNER AT 7.5: Rain made 2,000 Guineas day almost impossible for punters and a 125-1 shot nearly bagged the big race but take nothing away from Daqman’s second best, the Frankel colt Chaldean (WON 7-2 from 7.5 on BETDAQ), who put Daqman 13-6 up on Pricewise and placed BETDAQ clear best for value.

Saturday
WON 7-2 CHALDEAN (2,000 Guineas) BETDAQ 7.5

Friday

WON 3-1 SHOULDVEBEENARING

Thursday
WON 10-11 SMILE AND PAY (nap)

MORE RAIN FOR FILLIES’ CLASSIC: Today Daqman follows the strong stalls indicators of the week at Newmarket so far, and tries to imagine a 1,000 outcome resembling yesterday’s Classic, which Aidan O’Brien described as a ’non-event.’ Daqman today chooses unexposed Guineas fillies with form on the ground (there was more rain last night).

1,000 GUINEAS DREAM BET

⭕ 3.40 Newmarket (1,000 Guineas) STATS: Stalls 2, 3, 4, 7 (twice) and 8 (twice) have won in the decade, and the far-side low draw has dominated on the course this week, with 1, 1, 1, 2, 2, 8, 7, 1 scoring on Friday and 1, 3, 22 (of 21), 3, 15 (of 15), 3, 11 (of 8) and 9 (of 8) yesterday.

In other words, there is huge advantage to the low three stalls and, when they don’t win, the extreme high numbers score under the near rail.

The 2,000 Guineas one-two by stall was 3 from 4, and the low drawn in the 1,000 are Lezoo (1), Queen Me (2) and Caernarfon (3), though it is not certain that Lezoo will act on the ground.

Under the stands rail, Mammas Girl (20), Sweet Harmony (19), Olivia Maralda (18) and Mawj (17), with this time Olivia Maralda (18) not having form with cut in the ground.

Low draw

CAERNARFON (3) won over today’s CD on soft at Newmarket in October, ‘always doing enough’ but the form hasn’t worked out and she looks among the exposed.

QUEEN ME (2) Dubawi out of a Frankel mare, a stablemate of Hi Royal, yesterday’s 125-1 runner-up in the 2,000 Guineas.
High stalls

MAMMA’S GIRL (20) despite a slow start, powered through soft ground to land the Nell Gwyn, with Sweet Harmony (19) well beaten.

MAWJ (17) won the Fillies Guineas at Meydan but had held on by only a short-head from the flying finish of Dream of Love, who came from the rear. Mawj looks exposed.

Revised order in with BETDAQ offers

1: REMARQUEE Won the Fred Darling l (7f soft), form that has her a pound or two off Cheveley Park form with Lezoo, Meditate and Mawj. Lightly raced like Dream of Love and Mamma’s Girl and likely to do better, maybe much better. Betdaq Betting Exchange 8.4.

2: DREAM OF LOVE my 8.0 BETDAQ ante-post bet has the makings of this through Mawj, who is pivotal to so much of the filly form of last season and this, but may now lack the edge of the lightly-raced ones. BETDAQ 12.0.

3: CAERNARFON Jack Channon excited with his prospect. Lacks confirmatory form but is a course-and-distance winner on soft. BETDAQ 32.0.

4: TAHIYRA Clear winner of the Moyglare on soft ground second Tarnawa is the Ballydoyle flop yesterday a warning for the Irish? Trainer Dermot Weld admits: ‘I don’t know where I am with her.’ BETDAQ 2.98.

5: MAMMAS GIRL Improving at the right time. BETDAQ 11.5.

6: QUEEN ME Worries about the trip but her dam was out of a half-sister to Dylan Thomas. Queen Me won on ‘Haydock good to soft’. Her stable had the 125-1 runner-up yesterday. Her jockey, Mickael Barzelona, youngest to win the Derby since Lester Piggott. BETDAQ 45.0

A ‘SHOE’-IN FOR ADAYAR

⭕ 1.15 Newmarket (Gordon Richards Stakes) Transferred from the abandoned Sandown meeting, for which I tipped Adayar, the 2021 Derby winner, fourth on heavy in last year’s Arc. Runner-up in this race last year, after losing a shoe. BETDAQ 2.06.

Further progress is likely from Anmaat, the 2021 Cambridgeshire second on this course (he’s won on firm and very soft ), who landed an autumn double of Group 3 and Group 2 (Prix Dollar).

Unbeaten Francesco Clemente has yet to step up from handicap company but it seems only a matter of time for a Dubawi whose dam was closely related to Yorkshire Oaks winner, Islington.

⭕ 3.00 Newmarket (Dahlia Stakes) Results by stall for the last seven seasons: 4, 1, 2, 2, 3, 4, 3.

Astral Beau (out of the one stall) improved dramatically to win a Listed at Doncaster on heavy. BETDAQ 9.0.

Al Husn (2) won over 1m 2f last backend but Via Sistina (3) has been well beaten on soft in good company, and Prosperous Voyage (4) showed her best form on top of the ground.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
