DETTORI DUMPED BUT 10-4 TO DAQMAN: Daqman went 10-4 up on Pricewise with five Saturday winners, covering the big races at Ayr and Newbury. Non-runners blighted a three-figure profit and a crazy start to the Greenham saw Frankie Dettori nudged to the ground.

TODAY: Five winners and a Frankie flop
TOMORROW: Fortune Cookies
TUESDAY: Epsom Spring Meeting
ALL THE WEEK: Punchestown festival
SATURDAY: Sandown Classic Trial meeting

FIVE WINS AND A FRANKIE FLOP

TO BE FRANK, Daqman has a word for it (unrepeatable here)! Let it suffice that Frankie Dettori has now equalled Sir Gordon Richards record in the Daqman family punting history.

Frankie fell off the Classic-trial favourite, Chaldean, when he was bumped at the start at Newbury yesterday. Gordon got further.

Says Daqman: ‘My dad was there when, after about a furlong in a two-horse race, the future knight of the saddle fell off the 33-1 on favourite. Sir Gordon got up all right; my dad needed the oxygen’.

Chaldean was the hiccup in what might have been six straight Saturday wins for Daqman, including the Scottish Champion Hurdle, Scottish Grand National and Newbury Spring Cup from 13 bets, among them the season’s first Fortune Cookie.

Another sensational value day for BETDAQ, which produced a 129.50 profit for Daqman, was blighted by 15 non-runners in his winning sequence (we hope you got on early).

This fabulous five took the score in the Daqman v Pricewise challenge to 10-4 to our man:

WON 7-2 REMARQUEE (2 NR)
WON 7-2 RUBAUD (2 NR) win 50 at 7.6 on BETDAQ
WON 9-2 JIMI HENDRIX (4 NR) 9.0 on BETDAQ
FELL CHALDEAN (20pts supernap) Jockey unseated at start (… but stakes refunded on BETDAQ SPORTSBOOK)
WON 4-1 KITTYS LIGHT (5 NR) win-50 at 9.0 on BETDAQ
WON 11-8 EMILY DICKINSON (2 NR) (20pts Fortune Cookie)

How much help were the trials – Greenham and Fred Darling Stakes – in this Classic season? Daqman checks them out tomorrow, as he revises the FORTUNE COOKIES.

LIMITED SUNDAY SERVICE

It’s a modest day of sport after the usual rush hour of action on Saturday. It’s a blank day in Ireland – understandable for the jumps with Punchestown to come but why no Flat meeting? In the UK, it’s also a Flat free day with Plumpton and Stratford holding fort.

⭕ 3.30 Plumpton This can go to Tip Top Mountain who made all when winning over a similar trip and ground at Uttoxeter last time out.

He’s up 4lb but this race has been made much easier with the defection of both Hiway One O Three and Northern Poet and Tip Top Mountain’s trainer Robert Walford is on a very nice sequence of 1311 from his last four runners.

Gold Clermont loves it here having had two back to back C&D wins last month but finished lame when sixth at Hereford last time out so there’s a question mark there and he’s also up 8lb from his last course success.

HAT-TRICK FOR RAMO?

⭕ 4.00 Plumpton Ramo can complete a hat-trick against the luckless chief Betdaq Betting Exchange rival Sporting Ace.

Trained by Venetia Williams, Ramo already has a course, distance AND going win to his name when winning nicely here in March and followed up on that win earlier this month at Newton Abbot with an even more impressive 11 length success.

Inevitably the handicapper has had his say and he’s up another 10lb which is chunky enough but he remains progressive and might be able to keep one step ahead of his mark.

Sporting Ace was bidding for a hat-trick himself after wins at Chepstow and Warwick last year but his form figures since tell the story 2232222.

He’s certainly consistent and handles the ground but you would think that having been beaten 6 1/2 and 8 1/2 lengths in his last two races the handicapper might consider giving him some help but not a bit of it and he’s racing off the same 119 mark today.

THE RALPH FACTOR

⭕ 4.45 Stratford I thought the card was tricky but Alastair Ralph looks to have a good chance here with either Governor Green or Scherbobalob who both arrive on the back of a win.

It’s a competitive heat so will back both to win 15 points to continue the good form of the Shropshire stable.

DAQMAN’S BETS

3.30 Plumpton (win 10, nap)

4.00 Plumpton (win 10)

4.45 Stratford (back both to win 15 points)
BET 2.1pts win GOVERNOR GREEN

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
