9-1 DAQMAN WINNER AT NEWMARKET: Daqman’s flutter in the two-year-old tests at Newmarket on the Flat yesterday turned up Tremorgio (WON 9-1). Today he switches to the jumps at Carlisle.

BIG GUNS TARGET THE JUMPS LAUNCH: Daqman checks out the million-makers among the Jumps trainers as new kids scale the top 10. They are responsible for 96 entries at Aintree and Cheltenham this weekend.

TOP TEN JUMPS MILLIONAIRES

DAN SKELTON, who is leading the way over Jumps with 66 winners in the season so far, has current returns of 12111, fast gaining on Paul Nicholls total over the last four terms which are detailed below for the top 10 trainers.

At the other end of the scale, Venetia Williams has made her usual slow start and sends out just one to the Aintree meeting at the weekend, Frero Banbou in the Grand Sefton on Saturday.

Compare with Skelton’s 17 at Aintree and 11 at Cheltenham.

CHERIE PICKING SKELTON BETS

⭕ 1.48 Carlisle Dan Skelton is firing on all cylinders today at Carlisle (five runners) and Ludlow (five runners), with Harry Skelton riding at Carlisle.

His mount, Cherie Dam, comes to fences as a Point and bumper winner, never out of the frame and placed in Graded hurdles, yet BETDAQ 3.3 this morning.

With current Jumps form of 212111, Harry has closed in three behind Sean Bowen in the jockeys’ table, 63-60.

Bowen, who rides stamina hurdler Bugise Seagull in this, was well clear in last season’s title race when he was out injured in January and Harry Cobden surged past. Bowen was also second the year before.

BARLOVENTO BEST FOR BOWEN

⭕ 2.20 Carlisle Olly Murphy, who is in my millionaires list of superstar Jumps trainers and is main supporter of Sean Bowen, lays his stall out at the weekend with four runners each at Aintree and Cheltenham.

One he marked down for Daqman in the Spring for my hurdles list of horses to follow was Barlovento, after the Soldier Of Fortune five-year-old won a bumper at Southwell.

He is bred to get today’s trip on his hurdles debut, in which King Roly has already scored at three miles and Geezer Rockstar was a winner at Ascot, which cost him a 7lb penalty.

Betdaq Betting Exchange5.9 Barlovento

COTTE IS A CAPABLE JUMPER

⭕ 2.55 Carlisle Former champion jockey Brian Hughes on Home Sweet Highway looks the danger at the weights to the Skeltons’ Point winner, Illico De Cotte, who has had a wind op for this chasing debut.

Out of a place only once over hurdles, winner of a 3m maiden at Hereford, Illico De Cotte’s dam is by the sire of Cyrname and Frodon, a very gutsy family. BETDAQ 3.35 taken.

Jumping errors left Home Sweet Highway trailing at Southwell and, after a one-paced effort at Ffos Las, Ballydisco was switched from Philip Hobbs to Lucinda Russell.

Phillipa Sue still has to prove herself after the mare won at Market Rasen a minute slow in a four-horse affair in the mud.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
