SATIRICAL SOLO FOR FRANKIE

⭕ 2.50 Newbury today Frankie Dettori has just two planned rides before Royal Ascot, Satirical in this one, A Dublin Lad at Sandown on Saturday.

Cheveley Park will be looking for black type for Kingman filly Satirical; she was unlucky not to win first time out.

There are a couple of winners in the field but the one I fear most is Sanction, first time out but with a good word from Newmarket.

Betdaq Betting Exchange 3.35 Satirical, 10 Sanction

CATCH ROMANCE FRESH..

⭕ 3.45 Nottingham: Juan Les Pins won four in a row last summer and finished his season, third, in the Ayr Gold Cup off 92.

His stable has suddenly hit form with eight winners in June already, striking at 37%, and Juan Les Pins is a pound below his Ayr mark.

He is one of only two CD winners in the field at class-3 level. The other one, Mokaatil, is eight now but has Harry Davies’ claim to help.

Another Romance hasn’t been seen for 250 days but has won after a long break, with wind surgery the key to rapid progress as a three-year-old, until hampered in a Listed behind Azure Blue, now a 114 sprinter.

Lethal Nymph is high in the handicap after back-to-back wins last autumn. Guliver hasn’t scored since 2020. Temple Bruer’s turf success is in class 4.

BETDAQ value 4.2 Another Romance, 5.4 Juan Les Pins

POPMASTER THE PICK AT 12.5

⭕ 4.00 Newbury Last year’s winners of the Stewards Cup and Ayr Gold Cup were rated 102 and 103, so I can’t see Popmaster (currently off 90) winning either of them, or even getting into them.

Popmaster has been beaten three lengths and three-parts of a length at Royal Ascot in the last two seasons, including 2022 second in the Wokingham off 98.

There’s no way he’ll get in the Wokingham next week, so we assume today is the grey’s ‘Wokingham’, with Billy Loughnane’s claim making him 8lb lower than his winning form.

As he’s matured, today’s 7f has become possible. Here’s his chance to change careers and use his lenient treatment, down to 87 from six races off 100 and 101.

BETDAQ value 12.5 Popmaster

IT’S THE COCKTAIL HOUR..

⭕ 7.10 Haydock Saffie Osborne has ridden 35 Ed Walker horses into a place (16 of them winners).

She takes over on Rum Cocktail, a scorer second run after a break on two occasions but her first race back this season – third at Ascot in May – was the filly’s best yet.

At age nine, Brian The Snail is unlikely to back up his win of last week under a penalty, and Dandy Dinmont is still a few pounds high in the handicap. BETDAQ value 5.8 Rum Cocktail

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
