TODAY’S DAQMAN NAP WAS BETTER THAN 3-1 THIS MORNING: Daqman today analyses three races at Sandown, with a nap at better than 3-1 on BETDAQ this morning. He also gives you the heads-up on two horses worth a Daq Multiples double.
LOOK OUT FOR THE PICK FROM FIVE MEETINGS TOMORROW: Tomorrow, final day in his assessment of Cheltenham winners, plus the pick of five meetings in England and Ireland
COBDEN HUNTING FOR WINNERS
⚠️ HEADS UP: Harry Cobden, 14 adrift of champion Brian Hughes with six weeks of the season left, is at Leicester today. He even takes the ride on a hunter-chaser.
Chameron (3.15), who has Foxhunter pretensions, is ‘expected’ in the Dick Saunders Novices’ Chase, in memory of the oldest jockey to win the Grand National, as the 48-year-old amateur rider of Grittar (1982).
⚠️ HEADS UP: Venetia Williams has seven runners at three meetings today including Un Prophete (4.28 Fontwell), who relished the step up beyond 3m for the first time at the age of 10 when runner-up in a big field at Warwick. He just gallops.
BETDAQ 11.5 OFFER CAN ENRICH
⭕ 1.55 Sandown One of Heather Main’s recent winners was Numitor at Wincanton, so Sandown should suit, though the grey is up more than a stone for 2-2 in novice chases since his first assessment.
If you delete Enzo D’Airy’s placed runs nearer home at Chepstow and Ludlow, you are also left with 2-2 strikes over fences when travelling to Stratford and Ascot. But his rating is up a total of 19lb.
The Skeltons put cheekpieces on Flegmatik; behind Enzo at Ascot, and has shown his best form on a sounder surface.
Early Du Lemo was beaten only a neck at this level here at Sandown in December but has been found wanting in a higher grade since.
Grey Diamond has been consistent for three different trainers without making much improvement.
Enrichissant is also stuck on more or less the same mark for his fifth consecutive race but drops back in trip today and has been showing plenty of pace at around 2m 4f.
This course with its hill finish could suit, whether bossy from the front or biding his time among the leaders. BETDAQ 11.5
PLAY MISTY ON LANZAROTE RUN
⭕ 2.30 Sandown A Grade-2 mares novices; not a handicap so, in theory, they’re all playing catch-up on 132 and 130 rated Little River Bay and Rayna’s World.
Little River Bay is another who has been running to her rating and is only 4lb higher for two successes.
Rayna’s World was third in the mares’ novices at Cheltenham in March when still a maiden, finally breaking through over today’s trip at Hexham but it’s been hard work since and she’s been dropped 3lb.
Misty Whisky has taken two steps forward: an 8lb rise for winning at Uttoxeter then, albeit getting weight, a very respectable second in the Lanzarote against all ages and both sexes. BETDAQ BETTING EXCHANGE 4.2.
Little Mo has impressed the last twice but is up in trip and all pinned up in a tongue-tie after wind surgery.
Can they squeeze more out of the mare? If anyone can, Ryan Mania can: he’s 2-2 on her.
Uptown Lady certainly benefited from her wind op when a 40-1 winner the last day but she’s had her palate tweaked a second time.
Sandymount Rose is on a hat-trick but nothing near her in two wins over further, at Exeter and Taunton, have finished anywhere near anything else recently!
HIGHEST RUNS OFF HIS LOWEST
⭕ 4.15 Sandown Bobo Mac is stuck in a rut, rated 134 or 135 in five outings over the last 12 months up to his sixth in the Coral W elsh Grand National in January.
Take out marathon attempts like that one, and Bobo is 12223 at around three miles, so likely to be involved in the finish but needing the race to go his way, if he is to end up in front.
Francky Du Berlais is also only 1-9 and also consistent over all obstacles (12221), punished 11lb since his run started in September.
Eclair Surf, who was fourth behind him at Exeter, was a disappointing favourite that day, anchored by an 8lb penalty for making all at Hereford. He is better off at the weights with Francky, but that one finished well in command.
A BETDAQ 5.3 offer, Highest Sun has only a 1-9 strike rate over fences but has dropped 7lb in the handicap since he ran at the Cheltenham festival and runs off his lowest mark in two years.
The handicapper has hit Eclair De Guye for 9lb after daring to win nearly 10 lengths at Huntingdon.
A similar 9lb swipe at Cuban Pete stopped his hat-trick, though he was not disgraced, third in the Mandarin at Newbury in December.

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
