14 WINS IN ONE DAY: 110 POINTS: After 14 wins from three consecutive days (Thursday-Saturday) for a profit of 116 points, Daqman did it all in one day yesterday with winners and a yankee giving him 14 successful bets and a profit of 110 points:

WON 6-1 Gold Futures
WON 11-4 Beg To Differ
WON 15-8 Three Faces West
WON 11-10 Aiteen Thirty-Three
WON 8-11 Catchin Time
WON 8-13 Boru’s Brook

GOLD IN 260.0 OFFER IN RUNNING: His results on the day were 11212111. His yankee totted up to 65.25 to a single-unit stake. He had the 15-1 one-two (Ladbrokes forecast) Gold Futures and Upswing. And Gold Futures, seven lengths down in fourth place at the last, was offered at 260.0 in running.

THREE WINNING NAPS FROM FIVE: Daqman was landing his third winning nap from the last five, with a confident vote for the stamina horse Three Faces West, who made all. The sequence gives you a profit of 92.50 to 20-points level stakes:

WON 9-4 CLOUD CREEPER
WON 5-2 ARPEGE D’ALENE
WON 15-8 THREE FACES WEST

EIDER CHASE ABC GUIDE: Daqman today takes an early look at the Eider Chase after 30 horses were ‘confirmed’ for the Newcastle race on Saturday, though he thinks it hinges on decisions to be made later in the week.

DON’T KNOCK ‘RAWLEY’: HE STAYS ALL DAY

Hold your horses! Saturday’s Eider Chase may hinge on which of these from the front of the market are ready to race again after very recent runs: Soll, The Job Is Right, Broadway Buffalo, Glenquest. Irish trainer Michael Hourigan will decide about The Job Is Right on Thursday; he could wait for the NH Chase at Cheltenham. Portrait King, winner of the race in 2012, and last year’s hero, Wyck Hill, are definite runners.

2.55 Newcastle (Eider Chase, Saturday) The following from those currently quoted 20-1 or shorter come out top of the ABC stats and facts guide, based on the last 10 winners, but it would seem that waiting on stable decisions – and the BETDAQ offers – is your best option. Keep this on your desktop.

A Carries 11st or more (10 out of 10)
B Rated 131-139 (seven out of eight)
C Won 3m 1f+ chase (10 out of 10)
D Won class-3 chase or higher (10 out of 10)
E Had run in the last 30 days (10 out of 10)

ABCDE Soll

One-time three out of four in Point, Hurdle and chase in Ireland, but overfaced sent straight to Newbury Hennessy, and Chepstow and Liverpool (seventh) Nationals of 2012-13 season.

Continues highly tried in such as the Topham and the Grand Steeplechase de Paris. Back to form on the last day and down to his winning mark. Likely to be up there early and could stay on into a place.

ABCDE The Job Is Right

Former Graded hurdler, ran a cracker in first handicap, fourth in PP Chase over Christmas, and broke his duck over fences four days later.

Would have run second in the Thyestes to the very smart Djakadam but fell at the last when challenging. Dropped down in trip without his blinkers in Boyne Hurdle at Navan on Sunday. Primed for this.

ABCD Knockanrawley

Pulled up once on very heavy; otherwise 1122113321 since start of 2013-14 season and ground out victory over his longest trip to date at Newbury near the end of December.

Same sire as Portrait King, he ‘stays all day’ according to connections but idles and will have to be saved up until the last fence.

ABDE Broadway Buffalo

A talking horse who owes his fans a fortune – never longer than 6-1 over fences – he was full of promise yet again when going for home too soon in the Rehearsal Chase on this course.

Held up this time, he scored emphatic success in the Tommy Whittle and had yet to be ‘asked’ when, playing a stalking game again, he fell in Saturday’s Haydock Grand National Trial.

ACDE Portrait King

Back-to-back double of note when taking the 2012 Punchestown Grand National Trial and this Eider Chase inside 20 days.

Not in the same form since, until Punchestown Amateur National winner in January and runner-up in same Punchestown National trial three years on. Looks a good thing.. for Punchestown!

ACDE Wyck Hill

Last year’s winner of this, given a chance by the handicapper, dropped 7lb after his Welsh National flop, has had a recent pipe-opener for this double bid but has never won off this 141 mark.

ACD Shotgun Paddy

Another ultra-consistent, with form in the last three years, still standing, of 112331321203, and fine effort, third, in the marathon Warwick Classic, giving a stone to the winner, beaten little more than four lengths.

BCD Milborough

By Milan out of a Supreme Leader mare, reasonable form in novice-chases, and came of age when outstaying Fill The Power up the hill at Carlisle. Badly in with that one now, and fell at Catterick on the last day.

BCD Monkerty Tunkerty

Seventh in J L T at Cheltenham Festival in 2013 but first win for nearly two years, 10lb lower at Wincanton on heavy last month.

BCE Alpha Victor

Midlands Grand National runner-up at Uttoxeter last March but modest form over fences since, though decent runner-up in Wetherby long-distance hurdle with cheekpieces applied.

BE Glenquest

Has mixed hurdles and chases, a stone higher over fences, but without success for more than two years, although third in the Welsh National in December, hanging left or he might have finished in the first two.

B Ballyculla

A Westerner, always thereabouts at around 3m and entitled to improve as an eight-year-old, after only three novice chases, now stepped up to a marathon trip.

CDE Beforeall

Quiet man Oliver ‘Many Clouds’ Sherwood has just hit 1,000 winners and this one – dam from the family of Irish National winner – could now be ready to shine after a breathing op.

CDE Everaard

Unable to improve the 10lb demanded by the handicapper after back-to-back wins last Spring but placed on the last day. All success has come on (officially) good-to-soft surface.

CDE Fill The Power

Good place form, now 12lb better with Milborough, and 10lb with Broadway Buffalo (Tommy Whittle), and given a chance here 17lb lower than his Scottish National mark last Spring.

CDE Gorgehouse Lliege

Started the season (Southern National winner) as he ended last. Then fourth in the Sussex National before second, only two finished, in the West Wales National. Jumps very well; loves it heavy.

CDE Presented

Sixth behind Wyck Hill in this race last year and 3lb lower now, but poor efforts since penalised for winning at Bangor in November, 7lb lower.

CDE Rose Of The Moon

Just one win in more than two years, and badly out of form in 2014 and again recently, albeit with or one two big asks, such as the Grand National.

CD Count Guido Deiro, Herdsman, Neptune Equester, Scotswell, Summery Justice, Tutchec, Woodford County

CE Soudain;

DE Wicklow Lad;

E Champagne Rian, Rattlin, Sharney Sike

IBIS NAPPED FROM LOW HANDICAP MARK

TAUNTON Not easy to trust any of the class-5 mares in the opener and, if we back Avispa (2.40) – should benefit from step up in trip – we have to have a saver on Spellbound, who has just joined the same yard.

Graded winners Dell Arca and Fox Norton would normally have the handicap hurdle (3.45) to themselves but Tornado In Milan loves the track and then there’s the little matter of yet another ex-French dark horse at Ditcheat.

Ibis Du Rheu (4.0 on BETDAQ this morning) is the name and he gets 16lb and 21lb from the class horses and 9lb from the course specialist.

He was pitched in at the deep end behind Triumph Hurdle favourite Peace And Co last month and should be able to get off the mark in his adopted country on these terms, on the way to a chasing career.

WETHERBY With one in three winners since he announced his retirement, and three rides today, A P McCoy will be expected to win something.

I shall bet Rainman (2.50), a huge price at offers of 7.0 because One Track Mind ran in a Graded race, and At Reception (3.55), stop at a winner. It’s a desperately poor day’s racing.

DAQMAN (1 to 9, according to strength; banker 10)
BET 8pts win AVISPA and 1pt win SPELLBOUND (2.40 Taunton)
BET 4pts win RAINMAN (2.50 Wetherby), if lose 8pts win AT RECEPTION (3.55 Wetherby)

DAQ MULTIPLES: 2 x 1pt win trebles AVISPA (2.40 Taunton), with RAINMAN (2.50 Wetherby) and IBIS DU RHEU (3.45 Taunton) and Avispa with AT RECEPTION (3.55 Wetherby) and Ibis Du Rheu.
