SILVER MEDAL DAQMAN: scored gold twice in the weekend big races but had to make do with silver three times yesterday with 222 returns from three bets.

TUESDAY TRIO: Daqman has three bets – one from each venue Taunton, Newcastle and a NAP from Market Rasen.

COURT NAPPING

⭕ 3.10 Market Rasen Court Cian is up a hefty 10lb for his Fakenham win on New Year’s Day but he absolutely bolted home – an official 16 lengths but quite easily could have been double that given the extent he was eased down by.

That was his first try over a longer trip and over the same trip and ground today he could easily be still ahead of the handicapper on just his seventh start over hurdles.

Keep it quiet but I’m slightly surprised he isn’t a shorter price on Betdaq Betting Exchange – the perfect situation for stepping in and having a nap bet.

Rialannah is a career 0-12 but the mare ran much better at Doncaster last time out. She could be a big danger if the first time cheekpieces have a positive impact and her trainers Joel Parkinson & Sue Smith are in eye-catching form with seven winners from their last 29 runners.

THE GREAT PRETENDER

⭕ 3.30 Taunton The starting point here has to be Camino Rocio who has been transformed since changing yards and is now 3-3 for Jim & Suzi Best.

That sequence shows no signs of stopping judged by his latest 12 length win at Market Rasen but that race fell apart a bit and he was left clear three out.

He’s up 9lb and might now be vulnerable over a trip shorter than he has been racing over recently.

Lady Pretender ran her best recent race when chasing home We Got Your Back at Leicester last time out which came on the same soft ground as forecast today.

The winner and third from that race have gone on to fill the same positions in races subsequently and the handicapper has given Lady Pretender a good chance of going one better off the same mark.

THE NAME IS BOND, JEMS BOND

⭕ 7.30 Newcastle The finale looks the most competitive race on tonight’s card at Gosforth Park and there’re a couple I like against the field.

Monsieur Fantaisie was only beaten a nose by one of today’s rivals Elettaria over course and distance 10 days ago and surely has chances of reversing that form with a swing of 5lb in the weights?

Jems Bond is overdue a return to the winners’ enclosure but seemed to take to the first time visor last time out and his trainer Alan Brown is back in good form.

There’s no doubt he is lurking on a winning mark and has a strong chance of a third course and distance success.

What are points? Points facilitate a staking plan, which is the secret to creating profit. One point is whatever you choose: a pound, a euro, or whatever ….

Start with a bank and decide how much you can afford to lose over a period of time, and determine the size of your bets accordingly. Daqman makes this variation every day.
